They started as a group of ex Trotskyites...

Most people with the trotskies don't start a political party though.. they just go get some Immodium A.D and hope they don't sneeze in public :D

My political bias is.. I'm very biased against politicians :p

The should be options for jazz, blues, rock, r&b, electronica, pop, folk, rap, world, and so on, in addition to classical.

Glad I was able to click several things. You can't pigeonhole even a pigeon, much less an organism as complex and advanced as a beagle.

I wholeheartedly agree. Finally, a poll I can sink my teeth into!

I will always go with the pie, but I have conditions for my pie provider:

1. I can have as much pie as I can handle - and I determine how much pie I can handle.
2. No one takes my pie away from me!
3. I can defend my pie with deadly force if necessary (hey, pie is important!).
4. I am free to share my pie with whoever I want to.
5. I am not given someone else's old stale half-eaten pie.

Acid zydeco, jazz bagpipes, or klezmer-reggae fusion.

What does that matter so long as Pie?

Pastry not pie! Beer not wine! Arctic foxes not ferrets!

I've noticed a distinct lack of support for beer here. Beer I tell you...BEER! Even slugs love beer. Gawd!

Won't someone think of the hurdy-gurdy?

You can find some nice odd combinations on youtube, like steel drums playing Bach.

We also need to add in heavy-metal bagpipes, hard rock yodeling, sitar playing psychedelic pop rockers, and feedback devotees, as long as we're including musically based parties in this expanded list. :P

and

[x] supporter of the Vienna nude-river-pirates-against-analog-cheese-party which doesn't exist, but I wish it would.

That was one of the first combinations I tried when I got a MIDI sequencer, back in the '80s.

I think that in an enlightened society the actual system won't matter. When more people start thinking for themselves our focus will change from 'power and money' to 'what works'. Today's politicians keep the pie for themselves. And the people? "Let them eat cake!"

PS - I still say Argent's ferret needs it's own photo-gallery website. I'm becoming a big fan :)

I would, but it always leaves me speechless.

Also I couldn't find the "Hi there, Ferrets" button.
