I know both are needed, but if you had to restrict it from time to time, who would you let in first? This of SL as the mall, premium and estate owners, as the renters in the mall, and everyone else is the ones who come in and shop at the mall, or browse, or rent spaces from the renters in your mall) I look at SL that way, if they piss off the premium users to the point that they feel they are getting the short end of the stick, they will leave, if they leave, others follow, then the ones who pay SL for sims, or land, will leave cuz there is no one there to keep the money flowing, they all left, because they could not get in

I've lost a few rezzed items in SL tonight (not in inventory, or Lost and found, or in location I was at, etc) before I knew of the problems in world - really hope my stuff comes back to me. The one`s who pay me directly, if I had to choose, of course. Like I said, I agree with your standpoint. That`s why i`m saying it makes thee most LOGICAL sense for LL to allow those that pay them directly, you would think that`s what they would do anyway, as I stated. But we all know LL is not in the business of servicing people. However, the truth behind the matter is that NONE of us are paying to use SL, this is a free service. We just pay for fancy add-ons. Many "Free users" as you put it, pay a great deal into the economy though, and LL knows that. Lots of them put money into content creators pockets, without that money many creators would not invest the time they put into content creation, and in turn there would probably not be as many PI land holders. It`s a cycle.

If they GOTTA limit logins, due ta too many of us online at once, well then they gotta. I can unnerstand that. But GAWDSDAMMIT DON' suddenly do it after MONTHS of blowin' off the promise ta DO SO! |
