over 61 k and no logins...again

I was in, but got frustrated and logged out. It was taking an extremely long time to upload textures and rez anything. All search and profile windows were blank.

I was booted with a regulation TP issue...now being told logins are restiricted with 56K on...

no offence to the free account users but I feel if they are going to restrict logins they should restrict it to the non premium and no estate owner accounts (being estate owners can be non premium)

let those who pay LL directly be able to gain access for what they pay for

Geezaloo, we going back to that argument again? Why is it anytime the server gets messed up we turn around and point fingers with statements like 'If you people that didnt pay LL directly werent here, I would be able to log in!'

i got the "due to high load, logins temporarily existed" one as well. i think maybe it was meant to say "due to being high and loaded, logins are temporarily disabled" 0_o

I think they (not SL) means 56,000 logins

as for the debate about I pay you pay, I am just saying, if they restricted logins to the premium accounts during these times, it would make sense

(and yes I am premium, but could care less if I can get in right now)

as for how much one spends in SL, I am not about to debate that

bottom line is we all CHOOSE to spend what we spend in SL, we do not HAVE to

which is why I am not bitching about the down time, I am merely making a comment that makes sense to me, nothing more

(as I said I am not even trying to get in, I was in, I logged out, not feeling up to being in SL today)
so that part plays no role in my comments about restricted logins and premium accounts

(Pardon the random rattling here) The funniest thing about anyone wanting to be in so badly above others is...if you were in instead of me, LL's servers would still be crap and you wouldnt be able to do anything during issue filled times anyway.

Trust me, I see what you are saying, but its getting old hearing it so often. I not only used to be premium, I used to have a few premium accounts (when the pay was 500 weekly, it paid off with the free tier). I also owned sims, spent hundreds upon hundreds shopping and doing things that I never got one INCH of support in. I got rid of it all because premium doesnt mean squat. Period. When the world messes up, it messes up regardless of your 'status' and that isnt going to change.

So logged in or not, SL is still pretty broken and nuffin is going on that means much of anything....cept chatting. Thank goodness for that =/

They suggested they'd restrict logins at high traffic times a LONG time 'go n' blew it off. n' now they suddenly implement it without ANY warning?

Typical moronic short sighted decision that we're useta seein' from those idiots.

I am premium, you told LL to take premium and fold and shove it

are you trying to tell me to fold it and shove it?
If so, then just say it, if not then try to not post stuff that is not pertaining to the comments...

I hate the term "Free acount users" but I do agree with you to an extent.

On one hand it appears to make the most logical sense to give higher priority to those who pay LL directly (Premium/PI owners), because if I understand correctly, everyone else is just paying into content creators/land owners pockets. It would seem if you`re a company (LL, in this case) and people are paying you directly, they would get top priority.

But on the other hand, when looked at closer, premium members are as well paying by choice. They`re paying for the ability to own land and get a few lindens worth of allowance, not paying to use the service. Which is scary, maybe things will change, maybe we are going to have to start paying for top priorty log-ons when things like this happen.

Of course if you are a land holder in SL, whether you pay LL directly or rent("own";) from another resident, you are going to want to be able to get onto the grid at all times. It goes both ways. But the truth is, no one is paying to use SL, were all just paying for add-ons to make our SL experience a bit more enjoyable.....or profitable. And perhaps that`s why the restriction is so random.
