There are some very low life people tricking people into paying this laughable group liabities. That is why people need to watchout for these kinds of cheaters.

I once payed $1L for group liability when i was part of a rental group, I haven't been charged it since... mind you I havent checked my transaction history for some time o.O

This is old news. Also, by default, group members are 'forced' to participate in this fee. Im tired of being charged money from groups I am in. Thing is, most of them probably have no idea it can be turned off so only the owner has to pay it. Problem is tha tsome groups are run by alts that support a give land. I too am involved in a 'forced' to participate in this fee. But what am I going to do? Leave well i like whatthis group does. But there is no reason for us to pay said amount for this right. I don`t see this persons alt anymore. But the group and 'forced' to participate in this fees are still around. Turning it off they don`t care. What they do care about is getting it monthly. |

Jesus, people, Group Liability has been around forEVER. It's not LL's new way to screw you out of money, it's not a bug, yaddah yaddah. It's a simple tick that the Group Owner forgot to check off. Just talk to the group owner and get them to untick it.

Just talk to the group owner and get them to untick it. That is true, but there are some that only have Group Liability only to trick unknowning people. After they learn after they had paid in to said group. As for the tricky people setting up these groups and why dont they just leave them, well some don`t long in awhile i assume and then notice money been taken out. Its their fault that they don`t know the money is being taken out of their accounts. But then again those tacky low life groups that say its for group BLA BLA BLA.........Well those people.......  |

Then I'm REALLY Outraged........ I removed my post for this very reason, I have no proof it is voice so therefor removed it before ppl used it to get upset once again about voice... I checked the ones I was charged for and each of them had accounting turned on with the everyone role, which everyone is in... might want to check that _____________________

good because I really do not think it was voice (was a tongue in cheek post, surprised you even saw it, was only there for about 10 seconds LOL)
one day though (according to past info) groups will be charged for voice wonder how that will work, will it be a check box like the place in search check box enable voice for this group.... I see it being that way _____________________

Uh .. yeah it adds up ... to a little less than $2.00 US a year, if you're paying L$10 a week. I agree it would be nice if it were more clear what it was for and if it was disclosed before you join the group, but seriously ... it's pennies. And yes, VooDoo did leave, quite dramatically if I recall. I've seen the storming out and then coming back quietly as if nothing ever happened many times over the years on various message boards. |
