I actually got mugged in RP one night. Problem was my jewelry was No Transfer.

RP'ing petty crime is the sign of someone who thinks small. If I were to mug you, I'd be at the top of the Empire State Building swatting airplanes out of the sky before we were done, you clutched in one hand. There would be a trail of broken lives, empty gin bottles and spent shotgun shells reaching halfway across the country and people would be cowering in their homes, clutching their children to their breasts.

THAT'S how you RP crime. Not poking some poor woman with a switchblade and trying to liberate her purse.

What are you doing later tonight?

Make yourself pretty and put together a list of SLurls where there might be some good loot. I'll get the giant drunken gorilla suit and a couple Tommy guns. I'll bring the Red Bull; it's gonna be a long night.

Buying 55552 sq. meters of Purple Sim...
10-05-2007 20:44
And taking that first train ride over my sim. I felt so accomplished looking down at my 81% of a fully terraform sim. Not to mention, the only other owners in Purple are Lindens and the Railroad. I love it!

Ofcourse, having my 2 babies was also way up there, but Purple at less than 22 Linden per meter, was the cherry on the cake!

the first time I realized I got lindens from someone buying one of my projects.

This one for me too! And, the first time I got a big tip from another resident when hosting an event. But really, too many to mention.

/me smiles "good times..."

The first time someone took me to Material Squirrel and demonstrated their angel's wings to me. I watched him fly about the sky above the store, and I felt something inside me soar.

Being a couple months old, decidedly neko, jumping into the passenger side of a police cruiser with new friend, BW (a werewolf), in the driver's seat, and a cute tiny dragon avatar in the back seat... where we proceeded to tear up the recently established Black Art sim at full speed, on which we owned property, bouncing off people's builds, ban lines, security systems etc. Accidentally crashed a private beach party where we were all called "peeping Tom cops". I had never laughed so hard in my entire life with the SL camera angles going all over the place (I still don't know how BW drove or knew where he was driving -- don't think he did).

It was like a comedy routine. So this neko, werewolf and miniature dragon find an abandoned police cruiser...

The three of us now co own about 1.5 sims of land with a few other cool people, and BW still drives like a maniac. :-)

Good times, good times.

We so need to hang out.

My single best moment in SL was when my now partner totally surprised me by presenting matching Claddagh rings to signify our relationship - followed closely by our partnering ceremony. *soft smile*

Best moments...

- In my first few days I was searching money trees for bills. Some monk or priest walked by, saw me and paid me some lindens. I thought that was really cool. ;)

- The wedding of two friends. It's amazing how touching a virtual ceremony can be.

- The moment someone bought me my Mona (the pink lynxette I am now) just because I had helped her. I can't stop watching my cute tail wag and the beautiful cat eyes blink.:) Mona is so pretty. ;)

- When I started to rent my land and my name appeared as its owner. When I finished building my home.

But the best little story is this one: I was travelling in "Paris 1900". When I walked up the champs elysees towards the Eiffel tower I passed a couple talking to eachother. I was running (it's a no fly zone) so I just caught two sentences. They said something like that: "Him: I'm so happy we met... Her: If I could kiss you I would do taht now but it's impossible. Too bad I can't kiss you." I stopped running, turned around and dropped the Multitool onto her and said "Now you can kiss him!" Voila they were kissing passionately. :) They didn't know how to thank me... I remember them saying something like "I didn't know there was a cupid in SL, and wow, it's a pink cat!" I loved that moment!

Generousity of friends even passing friends when I wasn't expecting anything either way.
I have had one friend send me full version of Adobe Photoshop CS version 8.0 and the Educational version of Photoshop 6 because she had upgrade her copy when I was only few months old.
I have got really good friends who help me with projects, teach me things, even pay for tier and even paid for year membership and other things when they didn't have too nor was it expected.
When my mouse was dying one gave me a gift certificate and another sent me one.
The one through mail friend sent worked whole lot better then the one that I used the gift certificate one with.
Good Creation days when me and my best friend are able to make something really incredible together.

Building a glass sky station at 256m, looking out and seeing the top of the clouds gradually rolling by.
