For me, the biggest difference is that I can log out of SL and then log back in. RL isn't so easy to do that with.

It's easy to log out. It's just a lot harder logging back in. In the history of RL, only Jesus, and zombies have been able to relog. Shortly thereafter, Jesus said "BRB" and went AFK for 2,000 years, while the zombies found their attachments were randomly dropping. |

SL is a part of RL... its something one does in RL so SL is RL.
