From: Trout Recreant Dang. I had my pizza delivery guy costume on and a salami shoved in my pocket, so when you asked, "Is that a salami in your pants or are you happy to see me?" I could pull it out. Funny - I'm waiting for a repair guy to come fix my dryer. My prized tangible posession is...tough to determine. I really like the biplane just for the memories. Max turned me on to a Spitfire that flies beautifully and is very well made. I really love it. I have a few things that were given as gifts which I love because of the sentimental value - plus, they are really fun to play with. Geesh - I'm finicky. My favorite thing is whatever I'm playing with at the moment. Sometimes it's my freebie brain in a jar, ffs. You should see the Memphis Belle I subsequently purchased

From: Max Herzog You should see the Memphis Belle I subsequently purchased I could have dropped a LOAD of dough at that store. I wanted one of everything. I think I mentioned to you that my adolescent geek days were spent building models of WWII fighters, so that Spitfire hit me right square in my Achilles heel. I'd like a Memphis Belle, though. God, I'm such a dork. I want to get on SL to play fighter pilot. There are such nice flight sims out there and I just want to crash into sim boundaries and ban lines while I try to strafe the neighbors. Maybe I should learn to build aircraft. I could scrounge up the right scripts, I'm sure. That sounds pretty fun, actually.

Straight up first off all my friends I love & treasure in world, some I'm also I'm most blessed to know out of world. Second I raise orchids in my real life green house and have just recently moved them into my in world art studio, and sky box. Yes you can go by the studio to have a look lol if you wish, find it under my in world picks, and my new sky box I just built I so adore, as well my art, which is also out of world in rl. It is very kewl for me to see things I have out of world about my in world life too which I cherish both places. This list could go on, and on my job, all the kewl music streams, my in world horses, my dog, clothes, my in world toys and on as I have so many special things in world like everyone here I also enjoy,, so I'll just end it here for the next to cont. on . Many Blessings everyone & Thanks so for such a neat thread to read through

Those pre-teen and early teen years building model airplanes is what I blame for my now obsession with nosecone art. I like the pin-up art of the WWII era but it's the bomber artwork that is hard to find anymore.

My Isle of Wyrms adult Bast Dragon. Not only did I get accepted in the drawing first time I registered, but when I went to purchase my egg, my $L3500 was returned. Seems I was like the 10th caller or something because it was given to me for free. I just remember thinking I had done something wrong that they wouldn’t take my money. People started to congratulate me and Daryth had to repeat a few times that I had won. I was embarrassed and enthralled at the same time. I love that dragon avatar and all the different ways to personalize it. Its unique and special in so many ways.

From: Trout Recreant ... My favorite thing is whatever I'm playing with at the moment. ... Ditto. I have a LOT of things I love. My Black Rose katana. My custom M1911A1 pistol. My yellow Lab from Zooby's. My CT100 helicopter. My sailboat. A LOT of my shoes, outfits, jewelry, and hairstyles. My Official Pie Thrower. The one thing I ALWAYS have on, though, is my MystiTool. I won't say that I "love" it...but I would really hate to be without it. But I'm gonna wimp out. My FAVORITE item...the one thing that I couldn't possibly live without...is Second Life itself. Everything. The sims, the builds, the content...the people. /me hugs the whole dam' virtual world.

The "Advanced Content Creation" book (it's the partner volume to the enterpreneurs guide talked about on th' other thread) has a chapter detailing how to build a pretty good SL airplane, and all the content for it is on the disk that comes with it. When is an item not an item?!....
03-26-2008 14:25
Although I have a thorn belt that I've just realised I seem to wear with everything, my favourite thing in SL is not an item - it's my Partner! Of course my friends and not one specific item, are what makes SL for me - but my partner is the 'thing' that is my ultimate favourite! (OMG! I'm showing symptoms of going gooey! */me runs off screaming!*)

Mari (Who hasn't done it, yet) Since physics aren't really an issue, you could get pretty creative with your design, then I would think it would be a matter of dropping the right scripts into it. I suppose you need to specify where the seat is, maybe get a decent sit pose, then add the flight scripts. I really hadn't put much thought into it, but considering my love of SL aircraft, it makes sense to learn how to build them. Obviously a ridiculous amount of time and effort went into the Spitfire I mentioned above. It's very detailed - probably the nicest thing I own in Sl by far.

Relationships are most important to me in SL, especially that with my Partner. As far as objects/things they are: Mystitool ZHAO2 Rendezvous None of which can be photographed However the one that can be is my dog, Aiko *smiles*

From: Derbor Torok Where in Gor have you been shopping? I wish I remembered the name of the place - I'm sure Max will tell you, but OMG. You have to check it out. I don't know if the scripts they use are different than my other planes or what the deal is - maybe they're really good at keeping the prims down, but the plane flies extremely well for SL aircraft and I haven't had a single sim crossing nightmare. The level of detail on the Spitfire is ridiculous. They have several other planes. I never would have found it, but Max and I were at the Place (R) the other night and he showed it to me and let me take it for a spin. It can be set to allow others to fly it. Serious fun. That reminds me - my tiny little car from...dang, I can't remember. Ann knows. What was it? Objecta Curio? Something like that. Also an absolute blast, and you can rez several of them and let your friends tear around with you in cars that are about the size of a 1/8 scale radio control car. What a hoot! That goes on my favorite possession list for SURE.

horse person here too my horse from mcleans is one of my fav things in SL among that list I would have to say my pond, so relaxing with the ducks and such my friends, the memories made
and the knowledge I have acquired since being in SL
and even though he is no an object per se my husband, he is the most cherished experience I have ever had in SL the love of my life, the one who can see past the outside and deep into the inside, the man who accepts me as I am, quirks and all

From: Ann Launay Close...Curio Obscura. That's it. I wasn't trying to be funny there, I honestly forgot. I love that little car, though. I always choose the flame job paint and the vanity plates that automatically put my name on them - what a great touch. I rip around crashing into people's shins laughing like a hyena. Thanks, Ann!

My knee high, black leather high heeled boots. They are my RL trademark as well, and it took a while to find the right pair in SL, but I wear them to death ...and as a close second, my freebie bike by Arcadia Asylum which has given me so many happy hours tootling along the Linden Roads.
