I'm in! Does anyone know of good places to take your horse? Right now I either go back to the place I bought him at(AKK) or ride him or around my own land.

10K? Meh. A mere hairball!

10k? I've got more than double. :-/

lol, my goal is to keep it around 7 or 8K, but I've been slacking on my clean ups for the last few months. It's all still organized, but I know there are things in there that I've never used and likely never will.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

i just received my first (working) gun, given to me as a gift. WOOT!

it is highly addictive.

as long as i can wear my blonde wig while holding it, allowing me to feel like a Bond girl, i think we might have a new favorite item!

now i need to find out WHERE i can use it. last time i took out my toy gun i was banned from a place. proper weaponry etiquette is a learned talent, i suspect.

There's a landmark there! Don't mind the mess of my blog...hee hee...I broke it.

I also wanted to mention another one of my favorite items is definately the sexy walk script! I've put it in almost every bracelet I've made. Absolutely cannot live without it.

See I wish I could think like that. But I know that as soon as I chuck something (unless it's a duplicate) I will regret it - especially when it comes to creating a themed place or a set, there's gold in there quite often.

I'd like a week off work to organise my inv ... I might use this Friday partially to do that (bit of RL housework, bit of inventory). Isn't waiting in for a repairman fun?

And I will add this in case Trout reads this thread. When the guy arrives and says "Hi I hear you need me to get my tool out in your shower" there will be no chikka-chikka-bow-wow happening, I won't be filming any "Plumber On The Job" films or any other assorted 1970's skin flick cliches. LOL.

This is a toughie...... as I love my gadgets folder and everything in it..lol

BUT....but my favourite item would have to be my grand piano. I find it so relaxing just sitting in my roof-garden, setting world to 'sunset' or 'midnight' and sitting at my piano, playing Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata....

If in doubt, I pack whatever it is in a prim and pop it back into inventory. If I still don't use it after a reasonable period, it gets trashed or transferred.

Well, when I'm actually staying on top of my inv, anyway...

I keep my inventory down to 2500 or so most of the time :)

My build mule, on the other hand, has 10K in textures alone :(

There have been *many* times I've found myself reusing materials. If I find a good shape or comeup with a nice solution to someting, I'm bound to refer back to it somewhere down th' line.

I have a fairly deep tree structure of folders where I place my items. I try to keep things categorized as I acquire them. My landmarks and notecards are flat though, and consequently I never refer to either anymore.

Me too. However, I have a lot of stuff which got snarled up. Just yesterday I rezzed a Pillow Talk item which was - in admittance of my own stupidity - showing as multiprim. It is a few objects ... my only defence. However I was bemused to find it ALSO rezzed the remnants of a build made 18 months ago and not taken out of inventory anywhere near those Pillow Talk items .. how they were meshed is beyond me.

And there's lots of stuff in there which makes me cry at the thought of ever untangling ...

Mari is so right though. Every now and again I have a "War On Object" which means that they all need to be individually rezzed in case they are something important linked together hastily and reverting to the root prim being "object".

My favorite possession in SL is definitely my Mysti-tool....but after reading this thread, I suddenly want a horse. I think I will look into them tonight. If anyone wants to share the best places to purchase horses from please send me a message.

Dang. I had my pizza delivery guy costume on and a salami shoved in my pocket, so when you asked, "Is that a salami in your pants or are you happy to see me?" I could pull it out. Funny - I'm waiting for a repair guy to come fix my dryer.

My prized tangible posession is...tough to determine. I really like the biplane just for the memories. Max turned me on to a Spitfire that flies beautifully and is very well made. I really love it. I have a few things that were given as gifts which I love because of the sentimental value - plus, they are really fun to play with. Geesh - I'm finicky. My favorite thing is whatever I'm playing with at the moment. Sometimes it's my freebie brain in a jar, ffs.

You HAVE to or you never find it again. Then wind up uploading another copy or remaking a new one because I can't find it on my hard drive. And If I make one, I might as well make a series. Need diferent colors too. Oh, then a few pieces to tie into to other pieces. Another 500 L$ in bulk upload and start the process over again :)

The picture collection is a visual representation of all of the people I've come to love in Second Life. I said my favorite "tangible" possession, because it goes without saying that my prized possessions are the friendships and relationships I've made. Without them, there would be no point to even logging on. Building and flying around is fun, but without friends, who cares?
