I just tried to think of an answer for this, but I have so many favourite things in SL. I treasure my relationships with friends in SL most. I have to agree with Dekka!!!!! I have too many favorite things in inventory, but none of them can compare to the wonderful extended family I have in SL!!! |

This is going to be a very hard one to do. I would say my mysti, but I get really annoyed at it sometimes.
Then I thought of some of my clothes, in particular a special dress bought for me not long ago. But then I realised I love all of my clothes and hair. Now I am trying to run through my stuffs but I dont think I will find anything. cookies...pie...dances... I love most of the things that I have...the ones I know about anyway. If I figure it out, I will post a pic of it later lol. choices....choices.... I agree with Dekka. Its the relationships that make SL special. Seeing someone mentioning their horse reminds me of my dear beloved cow Daisy - who ALWAYS always rezzes on her back. "Eww! You can't have a dead cow out here! Think of the diners - they don't want to be tucking into a nice rump steak and seeing a DEAD COW" (so sayeth my friend Vera at great length, lol).
I'd not say I had a favourite item as so very many hold memories. A trawl through my inv is memory lane (good bad or otherwise, it's two years a la Cherry). I'd say my favourite possession is that I can give the finger most effectively by using mute, as a second to the beautifully creative, supportive and mutually inspiring people in my SL. Some of you are going to be reading this, you know who you are, thank you for your kind heart and look forward to working with you xx _____________________

My armclaw. It was a Bare Rose raffle prize 'Wrist Claws' but I'm sure they were meant for much bigger avatars. One day I decided to attach one to my upper right arm. Now, no matter what I wear, I never take it off. (^_^)

the dining i have displayed in my home that i built
an item my youngest made, that is so totally awesome in its concept, i also display it in my home my boots. too many things though to name, pics of family and friends, the very first house i bought, etc. probably need to clean out my inventory..... _____________________

Now this made me think for a while.
Normally, in RL, I really don't care about things. Stuff is stuff. Maybe it's because I grew up in a dirt poor family. It's the intangible things that I charish most. But here we are in SL and everything is intangible. And then we can debate the whole ownership thing. Of all these 1's and 0's floating around, just how much can you really say you own when it exisits sole on another's system (LL servers) The whole second life world is thier sandbix and they are letting us play there. So, hmm, my favorite item. Tough choice. I would say it is my boytoy tag. It marks me as a member of this group and a reminder of the fun I had going through the initiation process and all the new people I met along the way. Either that or my bits. |

That crazy dancing cow that Madhu gave me! I laugh with such joy every time I bring it out to play...and man, just thinking about that goofy dancing cow makes me smile.
But, I think the real reason I love it so is because I received it very soon after joining SL, and meeting folks from the Forum, so I connect the dancing cow with good friends that I have been lucky to meet along the way. However there is one other item I cherish (I know...this is cheating...): the landmark to my new home. |
