From: Kylie Jaxxon Took me quite a while to find them also, wtf. I guess you have to think with SL's mentality. Talk about nonlinear thinking... I went to look for the list of XStreet ATM terminal locations. I had to look on two separate occasions, and it took probably an hour in total. It turns out that the ONLY link to that page is buried in the middle of a KB page that is accessed by some arcane combination of clicks. Simply searching for "ATM" or "terminal" or any similar words or combinations will NOT find it. I went looking for it originally because I wanted to get an XStreet and a Lindex ATM on my property. This used to be a straightforward process. I could NOT find the signup procedure anywhere...so, being Concierge level, I opened a live chat. The helpful Linden found the ATM locations page, and at the bottom was a link that said "request a terminal", so I clicked that... ...and got sent right back to the Help Portal! So I said to the helpful Linden, "WTF?" and they said, "that means you have to submit a support ticket". So I did. The next day, I got a reply to my ticket. They wanted more information. So I gave them my name (again!) and my location (again!) and my land group (new). The reply also said "To request a Lindenx (sic) terminal, contact Lindenx directly". WTF? I said to myself. Is this not a Second Life Support Ticket? How "more directly" can I make this request? Yes...this is the better, more predictable experience. Wowsers.

WOW! you actually got a reply from your support ticket...
I sent in a support ticket when they first made the changes to Xstreet. How long ago was that now?...hmmm. I still have not got a reply.
The ticket was about logging in. I get page cannot be displayed (still happens) after I click the login button. I did find out in the mean time I actually did get logged in. There was just no apparent indication I was logged in until I actually went to Xstreet and saw I was logged in.
/me looks for the "head banging against the wall" emote.

From: Har Fairweather I guess my thinking is too linear for SL. It didn't occur to me that someone might put forums under "Shopping." When you design a site you need to put critical links in 2 places. One goes in the menu and the other is a regular link. No Java, javascript, asp, flash or anything. Just a link that says "Xstreet forums". That's not just for looks. What if the visitor is using a web terminal or they're at work or just aren't using a browser capable of dealing with scripts? Private messages and Xstreet forums are 2 links that need to be redundantly placed. If it were my job to do it I'm sure I could think of more.

The old style web site suited me better, with slexchange and slboutique as separate companies.
