the forums over there are jumpy as hell..one minute a post is there then it is gone then if you edit the freaking thing you end up with a double post..and it looks like crap compared to what they had before..
I thought it was a test theme at first..i didn't realize this was the moment they were adding what they thought was something that looks updated..it feels like early 90's  _____________________

I hate the FONT...  You and me both...The first thing that came to mind is ..Oh something must be wrong and we are on some kind of backup forum with no goodies on it.. Bold bland font bleh..I hope we get to choose some themes.. _____________________

ugly and bland.... all of it (but at least on the xstreet side they know how to use screen width) the ugly gatorade green highlighting is an eyekiller though

Seen the new Xstreet forum colours and layout yet? wonder what they will do here next to this forum? I was at Blue. Just watching. If we thought that Blondin and Jack OH were hectic, then they are a relaxed holidays against Blue's. But it was funny. Only not very much on topic, because very hectic and full of jokes. At the end Pink jumped in additional. She will make office hours about xstreet soon, 3 or 4 in different time zones and even one at a weekend plus announcing them within 24 hours, also she apologized for some "too fast developings" on the xstreet layouts/colors and too less communication while that. Blue said something about the forum here: it will be hmmm? english? merged is the word I think, with the layouts of the SL website and xstreet. Same style then... Within one week will be an announcement about this too. Some major critics on the SL website he moves over to the dev team. These are the news. |

I can live with the bland colors, but none of the pages fit on my 1024 x 768 resolution work computer. I have to use the scroll bars to see what is on the right side of the page. Same here, I have 3 1024 x 768 displays, and the xstreet marketplace page in particular is annoying because the prices are off the right side of the screen. In most browsers on can use the page zoom function to make it fit, but I don't need the text to be smaller. _____________________

A design class at my old college, wherein they beat the phrase, "K.I.S.S." into the thick skulls, until you can read it in the mirror. It's not a hard philosophy to follow, but LL sure makes it seem that way. XStreet, they kinda broke some functions, while I was trying to add items to sell there. Made finishing the job take twice as long. XStreet's use of space is nowhere near as annoying as the dashboards, however, they still wasted lots of space on the bigger fonts, because it dragged out the headers on the items. At least I assume it's their use of too big fonts, because it's not affecting any other site. _____________________

FFS don't they have any REAL work to do, rather than spend their time redesigning freakin web pages? The pile of JIRA tickets is so large that 100 lindens working 24 hrs a day could not resolve them all in a few years and they have some of their people playing with redesigning web pages that do not need to be touched. Maybe they should fire the ones that only know how to play with web pages and get some real developers in there that actually might know how to work on the viewer and server code without adding more bugs with each new rollout.

Is it just me or xstreet. I can't get advanced search to do anything in xstreet. The page does not reload. As usual what more can we expect. I am really sick and tired of this mess. Every time they make a change they screw things up. LEARN TO LEAVE THINGS ALONE THAT WORK!!!!!!

The layout is confusing.. (on my screen anyway). I was testing the Adult links (*coughs...merely for research purposes) and they didn't work. Search didn't work either. There are lots of good examples of shopping sites...surely LL could have found a better model to emulate. Z |

I see they still have not fixed the catagory listings to be in alphbetic order instead of any old random order and they also still do not stay open when you change pages. This should have been something fixed long before any layout changes should have been made.
As far as I can see LL still have no clue! |

It keeps some of the Linden staff in employment.....they break something or make it worst....then in about year's time, they'll announce yet another revamp of the Xstreet site.....rinse & repeat!
