Searching for things to do

Wherever you rez when you log-in, just hit the left or right arrow and hold it down. Shut your eyes and count to a random number then let go.

You are now standing in the direction you are going to try and walk, drive or fly. Note that this works on mainland best, private estates are quite small by comparison =)

I've occupied tons of time just wandering in a random direction and seeing what I find, then following that to other places through land-marks, or by train routes (if they're working) or such.

Find a lot of cool stuff that way.

True! I flew across an entire continent recently, found some very cool places along the way.
