Nope, "home makers" are those guys who hang out at construction sites wielding nail guns and sportin' butt cracks. :D

38, working a crappy job at a Restaurant till I finish my MCSE certifications. I do some PC repair stuff on the side. 2 different degrees in 2 different art fields (and neither of them useful in my state).

OH! And I'd consider myself an amateur Paleontologist :)

and all-around Nice but "weird" guy :D

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

Way older than that and I don't work, but I have had people say that
I'm creative and talented, but they never say at what.

I think they're just being nice. :)

On this note, I couldn't help but refer to the recent announcement that one of the largest Christian seminaries in the US will now be offering a full degree course in 'homemaking: ...

From: someone
Southwestern Baptist, one of the nation's largest Southern Baptist seminaries, is introducing a new academic program in homemaking as part of an effort to establish what its president calls biblical family and gender roles.

It will offer a bachelor of arts in humanities degree with a 23-hour concentration in homemaking. The program is only open to women.

Coursework will include seven hours of nutrition and meal preparation, seven hours of textile design and "clothing construction," three hours of general homemaking, three hours on "the value of a child," and three hours on the "biblical model for the home and family."

There is another 40 hour follow up course for the budding homemaker which covers the following topics:

He's fat, stinks of liquor and never bathes, but I still want him to do me.
I walked into a door, yeah, it was a door I hit.
Big sunglasses and makeup: A housewife's best friends.
They are MY kids when they misbehave.
Hubby likes gay porn, but he's straight!
He's in politics, but the law is for everyone else.
Sometimes, he smells like other women, but its no big deal.
Your ("fanny";) is his, literally.

Non Intutive logististics involving alcohol retrieval.
(hes 30 feet closer to the fridge but still asks you to get him a beer)

Social/Eco reprecussions involved in not interacting with the emotionally disadvantaged.
(his freinds are all losers but for some reason he thinks they should hang at your house)

"The average age of the people you'll meet there is 32. Most of them are creative professionals with backgrounds in areas like architecture, design, education and fashion."
Yes, I'm 32, I Work as a Security Guard in an Art School (I'm not sure if you would count that as a Creative professional lol). My Interests are Numerous, but they Do encompass Architecture, Design, History, Anthropology, Archeology, Paleantology(sp), Cinema History, Painting, Sculpture, Animation, Forensics, Criminology,,,And i suppose one Cannot have such Diverse interests as these without having a certain Passing interest for Education.

Most people in SL have some Kind of creative Flare. Content creators are the Most obvious. They are the Terraformers, Builders, Content creators, Fashion designers, Scripters, ALL the people who have Chosen their "Brush and Canvas" and seek to make SL Richer both visulally, and Sensually (in the Context of experience, Not Sex).
People who Socialize as their main driving force seek to create an Atmosphere, Society or Environment Rather than a tangible(?) object. They are the ones who organize Events, Host parties, or Create role Play Worlds within SL, Whatever their venue, their creativity is expressed best in bringing people Together.
Even griefers can be Creative, or innovative. Although Discord is their Chosen Medium, they employ many Sub skills to irritate people. The least Skilled are the Naked/Particle fountain/Cager-Shooters. They just use things others have made. The Scammers use Perverted social skills, while the Hackers use sophisticated scripting to cause mayhem.

Second life is a unique opportunity to Finally Do what we Want to do Unfettered by RL Concerns such as Education, Government, Money, Motor Skills, Gravity, or Physics. Not everyone is creative in the same way, or for the same reasons, but everyone in SL Does seem to want to Create Something. Those who view it as Just another Video Game rapidly lose interest because there isn't enough destruction going on to Hold their interests for very long.

I'm ten years too young, but I have a creative job (at least to me; I'm a phone girl and it takes a LOT of creativity to weave a custom fantasy for each client), so I think I'll just choose pie.
Yum, pie.
