Maybe we should set up a second trip for the U.S. workers, same day? Would 6:00 pm SLT be a decent time (trying to make it early enuf so east coasters can do it).

The weekends are tough because SL gets so crowded on Sundays, and Saturdays a lot of folks are running around doing errands RL.

(5 might be too early for the pacific coasters, Kitten?)

I mentioned 5pm SLT because that is 8pm for me in the dreaded real life. The later it gets the less able I will be to stay awake

But 6pm SLT (9pm) should still work for me, I think.

- wow, after writing that paragraph backwards in that other thread, I am having a lot of trouble writing forwards and spelling correctly. -

I dunno if you have the landmarks from the last time someone asked for them - but if you do, take mine off (Fine Things). I sold my land, and am debating whether or not I want to do another store - real life gets priority and I don't have alot of time lately. Ya'll can buy my stuff still on the exchange tho

If this happens, I might be able to make a shopping trip! Maybe a few minutes late, but could catch up at that time. It would be fun to go shopping with a group, I haven't really done that in SL yet. In fact, I only went shopping with someone else a few times, if you don't count my husband who I sometimes call for an opinion. But...he's a man, of course, so just usually tells me it's up to me. Another woman would at least let me know if an outfit was actually really ugly or something.

I was just stating a fact about my own in-world time. With forum members around the world it's really not practical to pick one time when everyone can make it.

I would do that except I just returned from a mini-vacation and am playing hell trying to catch up. I will admit that I have called off on a couple occasions for SL related things, thats bad huh?

It is on the list.

Are the servers playing up again? i just tried to TP and got logged out.
Ad now i am really mad, because I had he notecard ready to go, finished and everything. i hit save and closed the notecard and got a bloody error message. it has now reverted back to what it was 2 saves ago!!! grrr

Thankfully i have backed the text up on my harddrive. but i have to redo all of the landmarks! i am about to cry

Oh no! Maybe when you start again....after you add 5 LM's save it, and then send to someone to hold for you, then add 5 more and send again and so on....so if the asset server eats it hopefully the other person's copy will still be good and can continue on from there?

i may have a go at doing that with my alt, Its a bit late tonight to start again so i have given up lol. if i don't get it done tomorrow and am still having problems i will probably end up screaming and crying. it is soooo frustrating when it deletes all your work like that!
i don't know how builders cope with it! lol. it really my own fault for not saving as I go

I know you got Rhiannons notecard Claire, poor thing still is not well, she keeps trying to do too much and then ends up back in bed for a few days, but I know she is desperately hoping to make the 1pm shopping trip. Could be interesting, she does not get out much to shop, so am expecting her to come back to our shop with loads of bags and then insist on giving me the obligatory fashion show......I do have one request though, can you guys try and get her in a colour other than black ? Don't get me wrong she looks cute no matter what she wears, but would be nice to see her in something other than the black leather outfits she usually wears

Rhiannon in hot pink ???? Now that I would pay good money to see Claire, just for the photo op that I could wind her up with later. Nice idea, but knowing her of old I doubt it will ever happen, I'm just hopeful of seeing some red or maybe blue, she has a definite idea of how she should look and is definitely going to be hard to please I'm afraid.
As for me liking what she buys, I have no say in the matter, I may be partnered to her, but that is for the business and being partnered she gets much less hastle from people.

Claire you really are doing a great job here!

I don't expect to be in on the trip but would love the notecard once it is finished so I cna once in a while visit a forum members store. A few days ago I sent a guy to Bradley's store since I could not provide what he was looking for, it would be great if I could do that for other stuff as well. So that is one other benefit of having that list .

Now I do hope you did receive the new LM since my parcel in Ecstacy is all cleaned out. The new parcel in Alegria is partially set up so you can all come and take a look! At the moment most of my traffic is generated by newbies plucking my money tree

Which all off-topic reminds me of something I have to share: One of those newbies came a few times picking lindens on my old parcel. Each time he got some lindens, he donated one or 2 of them back into my parcel tip-jar! How about that, I was very pleased to see that happen! Not for the 1 or 2 linden, but is shows gratitude and that is not often seen

I have the landmark. Trying to get the landmarks into the notecard is proving a bit tricky. i am doing my best but i don't think the servers like me

As soon as i have finished it i will send the notecard out and will place a notecard giver in the forum. I will let people know when I do that

i have also given the date and time of the two trips so far (tues 15th 1pm and 5pm).
