thank you all for your thoughts. with the exception of the one trollish blowhard up there you gave me things to think on. i still disagree strongly with this place having this rule. i never noticed that snow globe family before lawl. i agree with Brianna too. why go somewhere to talk about the place you came from? no need to bash the hand that gave you fun when you find another one next door. i identify with moop. because of that i am sure child avatars identify with themselves too and felt bad for them when a place trying to be the new second life excluded them. no, you nit wit pep (who is quite full of shit) it is not about being fair. it is about being what you say you are. a simple ideal you are too much of a nit to understand. Peggy, have fun there. i hope you are found worthy to be a resident by standards they set up.

Actually I wish that place would change their ToS to actively encourage child avatars so you and the rest could clear off there and leave me here in peace to get drunk, swear, have nonsensical arguments like this and pick fights. Pep (You *really* don't get it do you?)

From: Moop Zipper Peggy, have fun there. i hope you are found worthy to be a resident by standards they set up. Haha........I went there and was actually welcomed by a Legend greeter. And I was a cloud for the first 3 minutes too........woo wooo!! So I'm sure I'll be worthy to be a resident by the standards they set up........people are friendly and most are obviously Sl'ers. It reminded me so much of my first few minutes in SL oh so long ago........but without the idiots trying to cyber me. It's a little wonky in the teleporting department.........I lost my prim attachments each time. But, hey that's happened to me in SL no many times I couldn't even begin to count. Textures load pretty slow too. And when I sat on an object I turned sideways (like I was laying down).........but those bugs will be worked out I'm sure. So, if you are not offended like the OP about child avatars, I would recommend anyone go there and check it out. You won't be totally lost because viewer is identical to SL's viewer. The search even brings up the exact same search as SL. Give it time before you pass judgement. I had fun and I'll continue to visit often.

they did have a neat welcome section with some great freebies..the viewer seems to be like the new sl viewer though and me and it don't get a long.. if i could use my nicholas there it would be worth seeing if i could build something..i don't think it works there so i'm gonna wait before bouncing around these places for a while till i get more ram and a video card that lets me move hehehehe
if some day SL were to die i may have no choice but go perm in one of them..till then i'm perm sl and visitor to the others..it would really have to be terrible here for me to leave and i don't see that happening anytime soon..

Good gracious, you poor little thing, you *do* seem to have a problem understanding the real world and the difference between it and virtual fantasies, don't you. As your next target for pointless whinging why don't you start a campaign to have capital letters automatically applied in the correct places in forum posts, as you seem unable to locate the shift key without help. Pep (Sad? I'm having a ball!)

Well, I never left the default SL grid, I have no clue how to log in to any other grid. Does that mean it's an SL clone? Like Ragnarok usually did?
Anyway, I play as a child a lot. I'm female, and was getting really sick of drooling men after my butt. So as a child they usually leave you alone sexually. Which is good.
I know some SIMS don't allow children, because that SIM might be an 18+ territory where sex is probably the only thing to do. I don't go there! I know it's a scary sight to see children avi's roleplay with sex, and I report them if I ever see any.
But my usual hangout like Hanja on the main grid, is PG, which simply already indicates that children actually are allowed, otherwise they wouldn't call it PG now would they?
SL should simply keep hunting down those who disobey the rules. If you ban children altogether, you destroy SL completely.
The entire concept is dying off if we keep discriminating on size and colour. As OP stated, that grid is ONLY for adults. 18+ activity, and therefore child avi's have no place on the entire grid, because there are no PG zones.
Then just simply wear an adult character if they please. why being stubborn, and trying to go against the owners? They simply don't want children on their Orgy grounds, for the very simple reason that children don't have sex.
And if I go into an adult area, I just change my character to an adult. I don't see the problem.

Basically, as with LL and Second Life, the owners of these other grids can make whatever rules they like, in addition to having to obey the laws of the country in which they are based and those of other countries from which significant numbers of residents are expected to join. I've never felt my freesoms to be restricted in SL, except by the actions of other residents or technical glitches temporarily spoiling the SL experience. I did join Central Grid, which became Legend City, just to look round but it didn't work very well and so I gave up. I have belonged to Open Life for some time now and I hop over there occasionally to see how it's going. SL is my spiritual home, I've no intention of defecting to another grid.

Plus, all my linden Dollars are bought through the default viewer exchange service, and probably all my money would be gone if I switch a grid.
I will need to buy new land, new items, and can't copy these items to a total different grid. So for me the official grid only. Because this gives me more trust.
