I am looking for some good music urls to pipe into the sim where my store is and also one for my island home. I have scrounged around on line with no results, and now I am throwing myself on the mercy of the forum.
Anyone have any good ones? I'd prefer some classic rock and today's music types...no country or hip hop need apply.

Yep, you did. So yes, you DID ask us to post here, and you DID call on us to offer you assistance. When we did, it was just toooo much trouble to actually read and take any of the advice offered.
Would you like me to come by your store, give you a free internet radio, and spend an hour doing a stream search and going through maybe 1500 choices to set up a menu of favorites you like? I'll be real happy to do all that...NOT.

This person then had the temerity to rail against the very forum that offered help and advice and also pointed out where to get links from as well! I myself found all of this helpful as it saved me asking the selfsame question and I've also found and viewed the video clip by Torley Linden on YouTube about streaming music as well. I now know what and how to do it when I get my 'pied-a-terre' in SL. I'd like to thank all of you that posted the help on this forum as I for one do appreciate the time you took to respond to the ignorant person who did nothing but insult you after you helped them out! As the saying goes... 'In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is King!' (He/she must be in their element there then!) So lead on.... and watch out for the cliff top and the fall. Mind you it ain't the fall that kills you. It's the sudden stop at the end of it! |

I may have been a tad subtle in my response in expressing my shock at the OP's gall- so- i will now pretend none of that nonsense even happened - however- I am very glad this great lists have been posted  So thanks to all you so dull and not busy people who obviously have way too much time on your hands and shd really be ignoring and letting it die Seriously though- I did need a new list!
