Cristalle's link was the one I remembered from not too long ago.

You can put " "Philip Rosedale" codpiece" into Google image search and not find it. Same with Flickr. So much for search engines.

I can't believe you've been in SL since 2005 and have never before encountered the Codpiece of Sequins. Someone even made him a real life one which he wore to the 2005 SLCC in New York. :D

I've never been to an SLCC real-life meeting, and the few Lindens I have met in-world have been people like Torley or Data or Blue. Never went to any of the huge mega-meetings that Phillip spoke at in-world, because until December of last year, my system couldn't deal with the lag at such events. Today's video was the first time I had even heard Phillip's voice.

I will not speculate on the message sent by his flat, sequined codpiece...

Beyond the passing thought that maybe there's a reason why all males in SL are morphed from a female form (Ruth), and have no 'equipment' beyond a "Package" setting?

Nah... couldn't be...

He hasn't changed his appearance since at least the spring of 2003. And he has a whole walk in closet full of the same outfit. I hear he wears each outfit once, then has it burned. :D

The pic is of Philip in normal standing position when our meshes aren't too distorted. I can wear all sorts of things that look OK when standing normally, it's when one starts dancing etc that the problems begin to show!

It's just a Philip thing to do... He wore that exact same outfit in RL one year to a Convention. : D He was his Avatar, and his av hasn't changed in for maybe even 5 years.

We need to start a JIRA for new Hair and clothes for Phillip, and while we're at it a Jumper for Jeremy and there's a few other Lindens about that could do with some grooming, Torley knows how to pull off a good look with little effort :)
And I think M needs something too, Phill has the codpiece look sewn up I think. Maybe M needs some wings or a Liederhosen?

In all my travels, an after having zipped around tons of Lindens, I have never, ever seen Philip Linden inworld. I also did not see him at the one SLCC I attended.
