first time i had left my house in months... i was to excited and trying to find the perfect outfit to fit in

I tend to change clothes every three days. Unless taking the missus out...then I try to wear something that'll compliment what she's wearing.

Out exploring? I wear whatever I had on at the house. At the house? I'm wearing a pair of pants and occasionally a shirt and/or jacket. It's a rare occasion that I've dressed to match the sim I'm going to. On occasion I will dress the opposite thought. Goth up for the "ghetto" sims. Thug out for a winter wonderland. Dress in a spacesuit when heading to a highschool. Turn mini for a goth sim.

I like to stand out.

Yes I dress for whatever I am doing. If I go to a woodsy sim I put on my hiking clothes and that doesn't include high heels.

I am sure you have seen women on ski slopes and in the woods wearing their heels. Kinda reminds me of some people I have seen in first life.

I wear whatever I want on a given day based on my mood. I never change for a specific sim if I'm just going there. I will if it's to a specific type club and especially an event.

If I'm just out checking things out or shopping then you may see me in a tux or maybe in a thong. (Well, maybe not a thong.)

I've taken to wearing one of Nimbus Rau's cat avatars while exploring, since it gets less cyber requests than anything else.

In over a year here I have never changed my avatar, and only have about 4 "outfits" that I wear, usually changing at least every month or so... I really should get some new duds.

I tend to wear casual or dressy casual most of the time. I also usually wear seasonal clothing matching RL. I do wear my fancier dresses while out and about shopping sometimes. For exploring new sims, I prefer to be wearing one of my casual outfits. I've found that in some sims it keeps the annoying male avies from giving me unwanted attention. I've never felt I had to match the sim theme unless I'm there for an event, concert or fundraiser. Okay, I'll admit to putting on clothes to match a holiday like last St. Patrick's Day over in the Dublin sim. I used to go to science fiction conventions quite a bit, I'm used to seeing a mix of people in all kinds clothing,armour, wings and what have you.

I'm not one for changing often, I've a few favourite outfits (mostly from Bare Rose ::B@R:

which are almost glued to my avatar for weeks/months at a time. I thought I was going to have a hard time putting together a halloween outfit but suprised myself with the number of odd outfits in my inventory. If I were to visit an RP sim I'd aim to dress appropriately but for the most part I'm cyberpunk or black shirt & black trousers (boring huh).
