From: Yummy Freelunch Yes..it was (name edited out by Czari)..and wow..first time I heard anyone talk there too!! LOL Well, dang...I was at the wrong place...lol. Will check out the other one just because. I'd scratch the place I went to off your list of "places to go in SL" as well anyway.

From: Lias Leandros Well I had a pole in my hand at Hard Alley in 2006. I guess I shouldn't have drank all of that wine and gone online. Are you sure it was a dance pole? (Sorry, I couldn't resist)

I generally tend to ignore forum posts as a general rule, however I feel compelled to respond within this one, as the context for it directly affects myself, not to mention those people who call 'Elements' home. I am the owner of the club that was thought to be at the center of this whole mess.
Yes, our club is young, barely past it's teething stages to be certain, however it is in no way in any danger of folding.
Yes, we do simple events, Best in black and Come as you are were specifically mentioned, again, it's due to the age of the club and our generally small list of VIPs...however those that frequent the club come often, not because we put up enormously large prizes, but because our atmosphere is aimed at having fun and at actually having conversations while carrying on with those around you...rather then just taking up floor space with the goal of walking away with a couple lindens in your pocket. To the poster that felt our club should be 'Scratched off the list of places to see in SL', so be it, that's your choice, same as muting people that were at our event...however it's your loss for missing out on the chance to meet some very friendly people that are only out to enjoy SL.
To the OP, I would like to thank you for clarifying the location that this all took place as 'The 7th Element', which is an entirely different entity then 'Elements' however, as one poster stated, this should be brought to the attention of the owners rather then dragging a clubs name through the mud to no good effect. If it had happened on my property, I'd want to know about it so that I could deal with the problem personally, as I would not want those people in or associated with my club. However, if your going to name a place specifically in a post, should it be to commend or condemn, you should be absolutely clear about the name of a place, as in your effort to draw sympathy for yourself, you've basically just attacked a location, a group of people, who were in no way involved in what happened to you.
Thank you.

Thank you. Richard.....don't sweat it too much. You got some advertising, and some people checked out your place. I'm still not clear on which place is which.....but I had a good time at one place. Most people reading this will understand that it was about "the people" and not about the club. It looks as though there is a Wednesday Night Forum Alt Night in one of the clubs' future, with heavy attendance....and loads of fun. Look at the bright side.....be the first.....and run with it.

Thank you. I for one would like to apologize to you and to your club for things i had said.. It was based on a few things i had seen during one event that really i should have just not added in here.. it was premature on my part and i was being a little kid in the way i acted..i guess i had gotten a little protective of someone without all the information.. I'm sorry for saying your club would fold within a month..I guess i had helped so many in the past and seen some similarities in some things rather than taking the time to take a closer look.. really it's still no excuse for the way i acted..I'm glad you posted here because sometimes it's good to be put in check.. I was being no better than the crowd of girls that attacked my friend Yummy and i can't say sorry enough for my immaturity.. Sorry you and your club fell victim to mistaken identity to and all the bad that came from it as well.. Facepalms in shame.

always a danger on posting names of things in the forums however I just observe and take it with a grain of salt as I assume most do about places, till they experience said thing for there self. however I bet Yummy didnt mean to cause any wrong grief for that club owner..but reacting out of undue stress...no one thinks clearly

Ok, went back to the correct club this time...48 people in club...one particularly seemed to be doing most of the "talking" so wondering if that was a bot. Got the rules list which I personally liked. Too bad it's not my style of music or dance venue, but that's just personal taste. The thing that jumped out at me per this discussion on the rules note card was: From: someone Please respect everyone. Personal attacks / bullying will not be tolerated in any public channel. Following was a list of what actions would be taken for violating the rules. So notifying the owner/s would be a good move here. One of the people there had a tag saying "I Mute Stupid People." I am so adding that to my tag catalog.
