Hi, I have been in SL for just over 5 months. In that time I have come across a profile thats sole intention is to split up RL marriages. Can anything be done about this?

You can report a profile if it conflicts with the Terms of Service. Profiles have to be PG. But if the profile in question has not broken the rules, then there is nothing you can do.

It sounds as if this person is offering a service. If someone wants to dump their partner, but is uncomfortable about being up-front about it, then this person can facilitate a breakup. They would have to use alts, as their own profile would be a dead give-away to the dumpee. _____________________

Sorry i think you missed the point of this post. did i sat anyone was advertising anything? Well you weren't exactly clear about how you thought the profile was going to break up a RL relationship. If you think they're doing something illegal or against TOS then you can let LL deal with it via an AR. If, on the other hand, you want opinions on what they're doing, then some detail (without names) would be a help. -- Aes |
