Jack and I agreed we would buy one packet of crisps. So if there was ever a reason to come along...

and share them out, right?

But of course... we wouldn't "hog" all the crips ;)

Anyone else planning on coming for Saturday or Sunday?

Anyone have an idea for a show and tell item for Sunday?

What's wrong with pork scratchings?

Me and Gizmo (my other half) should be there either Saturday or Sunday, or both...

Woohoo! Glad you can make it Surina! If you're around on the Sunday would you mind doing a show and tell about your ALife work for 10 minutes or so? I'd love to hear more about it and I'm sure lots of people would find it really interesting.

Pretty please with cherries on top?

I'd like to come along, but unfortunately I'm already booked for that weekend (company's Christmas "do";). The Nottingham event sounds like it should be a good one though.

You really want me to bore everyone with my fish? I guess it would be a good way to drive everyone to the bar...

Yay! That sounds like a yes to me! I'll put you down for a session.

Does anyone else have something they'd like to talk about? Something you've built? An event you've run? A story about something amazing or amusing you've done in Second Life? A story about someone you've met? A story about how your Second Life began?

I'd really like everyone to get involved in the "C U in RL" event on Sunday and make it as collaborative as Second Life itself. There are so many amazing things going on in Second Life that I'm sure there are lots of great stories to tell at the event on Sunday.

I'm happy to talk about Mono, scripting or anything else that people would like to hear about and I'll ask the other Lindens to participate too, but I'd really like to hear lots of residents talking about their Second Lives as well!

Cheers,

Babbage.

I'm really sorry but it's very unlikely I'll make it. I'm struggling rather badly just now :(

Yus its looking unlikely I will be able to make it, its three hours by train and I think I can only get down for the sunday, which makes 6 hours travelling time and would leave me around half an hour to actually say hi :P

I'm working on it tho!

If you would have made it in London I could have gone. Londoners dont even like to go south of the river.

Sorry but going back to the states for xmas that week else I might have made the trip.

Hope you all enjoy.

Naw. 3 hours is actually quite generous :)

It's about 3 hours 40 mins or 4 hours depending on time of day, because it's variously 2 or 3 changes of train. Not the most straight forward journey, that one :(

(and slightly longer than that for me!)
