I think it's safe to say that most landowners don't have quite the same option. It would be like euthanasia for a hangnail.

A Player alternative to Banning the "Impeach Bush " Guy

I am a very recent newcomer to SL, but increasingly frustrated at the same signs that seems to be causing a great deal of grief amongst the SL population.

At first I thought like others that creating screening of some description was a worthwhile investment in time and effort, however this does not send the right message out.

As far as i can tell all land has access lists, why not ban the guy from your land.

Whilst i don't want to start turf wars here, SL seems to be a place of little governance, aside from the T's & C's. So it is up to the populace here to exercise their rights of land ownership and restrict access to undesirables.

If someone comes on your property and consistantly causes grief, you are likely to want some sort of action taken. Currently as I see it you can report to the Lindens and see what happens, alternatively you can ban the person from your land.

To take that a step further if they repeatedly cause abuse to the community as a whole and the Authorities do not act for whatever reasons you have the right by land ownership to ban this people from your land. Now this may not do much on an individual scale, but if this person was then banned by all land owners who agreed then this would restrict their access across your lands.

Why let someone enjoy your enterprise and creativity, when they are so keen to disrupt yours and everyone elses pleasure.

I say if you want a pol, vote by using your rights and ban the cause from your land. If the pol is unanimous or heavy in favour of a ban, then that person is banned by the voting alone.

Of course the downside is that they may see this as a turf war and/or affront to their ego and cause more grief.
