I'm having the exact same problem
 The odd thing is, I get to 'Contacting User Server' and it waits for maybe 1 minute and then goes back to the login screen. There's not even a message saying WHY it wont log in!!! |

Don't know where everyone else is, but as of 10:15 AM, EST, USA...can't get in either...and my avie stands nekked in her BR waiting to get dressed! LOL

Well I managed to log in finally around 10:30am EST, I was in for about an hour but many things like peoples profiles did not work. Teleporting didn't work either. Finally 5 mins ago the sim I was in crashed and I was unable to log in. Now theres a little thing when you try to log in saying that there is matinence being done and to try later.

Not only did I have difficulty logging in but when I did get back in, went to purchase land paid 5K THEN crashed LOL, logged back in had NO LAND nor the 5K checked my lovely account history and was taken out as a land sale Go Figure

I also had that problem with the getting stuck halfway through the login process and either returning to the login screen or closeing down the program, however if you re-install SL it works fine - it did for me anyway hope that helps guys ^_^
