Ok this isn't funny anymore...what the he** is up with the game?.... I think they like messing with us poor people that want to get on the game....Come on lindens Get it right!!!!Get bigger servers...Without us you wouldn't have a game!!! Remember we help pay for this game...So do us all a Favor and get it right once and for all!!! Thanks i'm off my soapbox now...

They'll close up the Lab soon enough when us mice stop running the wheels, tired and feed up with their little techy experiments they throw out at us. They got what they wanted off of us. Money and info.

 Ok I understand problems can occur with SL and dont usually post here BUT I do have complaint tonight.I really dont like the messages coming up when trying to log in BLAMING MY COMPUTER!!!! I think that little unfair when I was in and doing ok and tp fine to a location, but fly across sim and my avi goes to pot, literally. It takes time to get avi the way we want for one thing so that ticked me. For another how can it be my computer when i was there and doing fine but tp somewhere and crash. THEN cant get back into game and get the nasty messages saying my computer WELL I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!! Just own up to having problems and stop trying to blame the players, is that to much to ask????????? I realize I am a small cog in a big wheel here but had to say my piece even if it dont count for much. Ok feel better now for having said it........... |

Looks like a good time for someone else to offer some relief.
I wonder who's out there working on a different flavor ... maybe AL - Alternate Life, or BL -- Better Life Hmmm, how about MRC? (More Reliable Connection) About the only really cool, reliable software I have is Firefox. Does what it says - always. _____________________

I am usually not a whiner ... but as I am still at the gates of SL, trying since one hour (60 minutes) to log in - to meet someone special inworld ...
This is really a special kind of patience test  . OK, SL is in constant beta, this is cutting edge. We will tell our grandchildren how we were there with the first pioneers ... But sometimes ... it would still be nice if it simply worked the way it is expected.My grown up self tell me 'Kim, whining doesn't help. Just be patient. The Lindens surely will be hard at work to remove the problems. They want happy customers, too.' I feel like 'Sh**! Ok, ok. I see. But I still want to get in. Mommy, do something about it!' |

We've all had problems logging on the past few days and going through extremely slow searches and other functions.
Unfortunately, the Lindens have us all trapped. If we own businesses on here, they get our land usage fees even though customers can't log on to use them. We need to do something about that. Raven Lehane is starting a SL Users' Union. Please join it. We need to group together and negotiate with the Lindens as a large unit. There are many things we can do as a group ... I'm hoping we can start a web site where we list Second Life problems and give the link to new users. Air the Lindens' dirtry laundrey and they will fix it. The only way we can make SL better for ourselves is to have an avenue to hurt the Lindens financially. We are the users and we should realize that we have the power to make or break this site. |

Gosh this is really getting boring.
I can't login anymore too, trying it for more the 2 hours. I think they should pay us money for beta testing this bad software. I really don't know why I am trying to get in , wasting my money could be more funny then this ! Next time I'm in, I won't logout anymore. Perhaps we should buy an account in there.com, this seems to be working ! Lindes, sorry, great idea, bad conversion, ------------------------------------------------ OK, i am not angry anymore right now It seems they have located the problem and are working it out. Hope this update is better then the older version and the DB's won't have a problems anymore GOOD LUCK to Linden and all of us |

And many on my SL friends cant either. How long does it take to fix a problem with all the resourses they must have on hand? Not a word from them about whats happening. Even the status site says nothing. Whats the big secret? What are they hiding?? Why do they act like nothing is wrong?? this stinks.

Hi again
After 3 (or 4) hours trying to get in SL on my PC and on my Mac, I lost any hope to get in anymore. I wastet a lot of time on this sunday, and I only want to buy more land.... I don't think I buy more, I sell my land and wait until quality is better. I have found this site in the WWW : http://www.virtualworldsreview.com/ check it out, there are more virtual worlds in the Web,,,, LINDEN, I realy think you should give us some money back, this sucks ! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OK they know now where's the problem and try to fix it,,, and additionaly I have to say SL is the best way to deliver a virtual world. Nothing else give's ya so much freedom for your ideas. Hope the new release solves the troubles with login... |

I think you need to familiarize with the figures that are involved when a real life grid is involved with real life hardware, real life programmers and a real life enterprise. The prices the Lindens charge (and i speak of whole islands and stuff) are chickenshit compared to the most extreme bargains in real life. The availabilty you get here is in the range of 99% (based on a year) and that is exactly what you get for this price. Paying big time. GIVE ME A BREAK |
