SL Friends Online widget available for testing

If they made the widget using Konfabulator/Yahoo Widgets instead of Dashboard... it should Just Work.

I would be happy to open up the protocol from my ingame server. send me a IM if you are serious and want to do a yahoo/konfabulator widget. I might even share my widget code with you to make the task easier.

Basically I personally have no motivation to do anything for windows users. Let em rot for their poor taste I say..

Wow, it has taken 1 year since this wonderful widget was made. I've been always with this.
And have they changed URL recently? I wish Ali would fix it. Thanks.

I just fixed the friends URL on my widget - get it at http://www.sweetvitriol.com (version 1.7)

This has support for the as yet unreleased Widget -> in game IM bridge. So you'll be compatible when I release the server later this month.

Prester, I think your widget's feature is awesome. And although I don't mean to oppose you, I'm very eager to cammand a view of all of the friend's names when I just hit F12. Ali's widget's window is flexible and simple enough to satisfy me.

Then, I modified it.
1. Right click the widget and open the package.
2. Open "Main.js" file under "Scripts" folder by an editor.
3. Search the old url, "http://secondlife.com/community/friends-iframe.php".
4. Replace it with the new url, "http://secondlife.com/community/friends-inner.php".
5. Voila!

Below is a copy of the emails I have sent to [email]support@sweetvitriol.com[/email]. They do not answer emails, IMs or ANYTHING!!! It is nearly impossible to get any information about that product, nor do they respond to customer service requests. The product broke a couple of days after it was purchased.

I SPENT MY MONEY ON THEM AND GOT NO SERVICE AT ALL !
DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

They do not answer huh? you do know that "they" is one person with a real life and not a full time SL programmer... I think I would have refunded your money too, I wouldn't want you as a customer. Its not some big business with employees as far as I know.
