It amazes me how many time this guy uses Anshe's or my name in his posts. Has anyone else noticed? Try it search "Blue Burke" most of what you will find has Prok's name attached. I met thisrambling conspiracy therorist twice in game a have had to mute him beceause of his endless book writing IMs. This remins me of something my father once told me, "Son there are people that do in life and others that just talk about it". He complains often about two things. One that people make money in game, Well in this was not LL's intentions then why the close releationships with both IGE and GOM. Two Phillip has said in more than one town hall that he never intended the auctions to be direct but that there would be a broker system to distribute. So why in this case does Prok continue to ramble on and on. This is my therory, He does this for the attention that he gets. In some odd way the arguing and outlandish claims gives him a thrill. This responce to his ramblings today will only feed this. If I were a betting man I would bet a weeks salary that he will HAVE to respond to this post. Anyone want to wager................lmao jk.  |

From: Prokofy Neva Note that its authors' do not include Anshe Chung or Blue Burke or other big land dealers, but instead, the self-appointed FIC elite who often are crticial of land dealers and accuse them of scams and frauds (in a highly exaggerated way, given that such scams don't tend to occur in anywhere near the high percentages that they imply). i collected the data for the first notecard. it did include schwanson who was (still is?) a big land dealer at the time. anshee et alts and blue did not choose to participate. i'm working on updating the notecard (wow that thing is OLD): /130/eb/45675/1.html

I hope that Anshe, Blue, Bob, and others who are big land dealers will make their own advice. They ought to colletively work on this effort for the good of the community -- but they don't need me to tell me this. This idea that a few tekkies who don't know WTF they are talking about should do the usual wiki doesn't fly with me. Who are they? And how are they qualified? Just because they're who they are, registered FIC members? Why? Schwanson, both your old card and Kex's new card place "caveat emptor" as the very first message -- as if the land arena is filled with sharks preying upon newbs. That's a false claim, and belied by the straw polls here and any actual in-world conversations that find that most people buy first land find, they find it despite its scarcity, and they resell it happily for a profit. They then go on to tier up and buy more land happily. This "caveat emptor" -- whatever its merits -- by being fronted, creates a climate of hatred. There are other aspects of these cards -- like the idea that there are scammers out to seize first land, etc. -- are also bruited in these cards. I'm for putting that in, but not fronting it. But I acknowledge you as a leading land baron, that's all. You're a public figure, whether you wish to take the responsibilities incumbent on such a role or not. If "Blue Burke" searches only come up with my name, then could that be due to your failure to post yourself on the burning issues of the day? Or could it be the failure of others to note your role? Or your success in intimidating them from comment? I think you're very out of touch with the forums. It pays at least to keep an eye on them. Whatever rantings people are making against me, it's not a rant that I have some silly alleged problem with people who mark up land from auctions, duh, I do that myself, duh. If you're going to blast and insult me, Blue, at least accuse me of something I'm "guilty" of. Mounting some critique on the land baron system isn't one of my "crimes". IN fact, I support the land baron system, I buy on the auction myself, and I pay yours and others in-world prices and thus support the player land market. Honestly, you just have no fucking clue.
