Yeah Euphoria was bombed too several days ago by some immature stupid little prick with his friend. But heck the owner banned him from the sim. Dancers are not whores. I'm a dancer at Euphoria and selling my body is something i'd never do. Look but don't touch.

From: Tigerlady Jacobs harrassed me in game - its sad lindens cant/wont help Hey, why don't you go into a thread that has nothing to do with this and name names! That is clearly the solution!

Usually griefers are damn funny. But this one crossed a line.

From: Latonia Lambert Would it help, do you think, if there was a Club Owners' Group. So that when one club gets hit by an idiot griefer, they can relay his name to the others, who can then ban him from all clubs?
There are too many griefers in SL and its about time they were eliminated by LL.
Latonia there is a club owners group called "Clubs That Care" Look up Joey Williamson or Trixie Therian in world.

From: DomPerignon Whiplash I am on the verge of opening up a new establishment in hopes of attracting a substantial number of patrons on a regular basis. After reading this thread, however, I am a bit concerned I may be gearing up for a grand opening unprepared for the perils that may lie ahead. What, if anything, can I do to help protect my patrons from such terrorists attacks? I see references to bouncer scripts but, being a relative newbie, I do not have knowledge or experience with such things. Are there other tools and/or utilities that I should also investigate before firing up the "OPEN" neon sign??? Please advise. Thank you. I know a good security group that could handle covering your events, contact me, Della Street in world and i will give you more information.

Sorry if I missed this suggestion.... I was skimming in spots to avoid the pointless trolls.
Have you thought about either hiring security or enlisting a friend with quick reflexs? That worked well for us in the past when we were having a griefing problem in a club we ran. Also discussing the problem with a Linden often helps. Turning off the ability to rez items can be a short term solution... you have to balance the aggrevation against the threat. Also turning off outside scripts.
Good luck.

I do not agree with those that imply the Lindens can ignore this activity.
I do not run a business in SL and have not spent a lot of time here, but it strikes me that the Lindens are highly dependent upon the whole dynamic of clubs to keep a very significant number of people on line. Here is my suggestion. Hit them where it hurts by organized protests. Place entire club buildings back in inventory for a 24 hour period and spend the entire period, along with as many clients as you can bring along, in an organized sit in in the welcome area, carrying banners and what ever else will get their attention. Make sure the activity is well publicized as a 24 hour event. I don't hang out at your clubs, but I for one would be happy to join the protest.
I have no idea what the economic ramifications of this would be to the club owner, and it may very well be the the economic dynamic would not allow for it, but I can assure you the Lindens would have to at least sit up and take notice when a significant portion of their world comes to a screaming halt.
