Sheesh I feel like a piker, I have just over 9,000.

Zoey, when you do a search in your inventory now it shows the number at the top of the inventory box. A running number.

I have been deleting mine ever 3 days in the last 2 weeks. I also clean it everyday, seems to help logins.

be4 i clean mine out it was over 13000, now 8519 lol alot of deleting and tons of stuff in those chest lol. Most was junk and photos. Keeping my toys ;) hehe

surreal i am sure u just did not know this would come up as a topic. i am sure with a bit of effort u could easily be a contender. and i have something like chips and closer to brianas numbers.

*mutters about actually having to sort and clean up all my precious things. sigh. guess i shoulda got a clue when i open my inventory and the sim grinds to a halt.

Hey! That may be the secret as to why some can long in and others can't.

I have over 8,000 items. However I am conscientious (some might say obsessive-compulsive) about cleaning out my inventory and getting rid of duplicates, etc.

In the process, I also put everything in folders. My folders have folders. I don't have, like, two items per folder or anything stupid, but I have sensible folders.

Example:

Big folder: Textures
Subfolders: Animal Textures, Brick Textures, Concrete Textures, etc.

Big folder: Underwear
Subfolders: Underwear Tops, Underwear Bottoms, Underwear Sets.

Big folder: Jewelry
Subfolders: Bracelets, Earrings, Necklaces, etc.

Big folder: Holidays and Events
Subfolders: Birthdays, Christmas, Fourth of July, etc.

Makes life easy. And I usually CAN get online if I'm very persistent.

P.S. This includes all my business stuff, too: Coco Decor, Coco Country Decor, Coco Cottages, with folders such as house parts, house tools, leftover Coco Decor, etc.

P.S. Yes, I am crazy. But you all know as well as I do that being nuts is practically a prerequisite for playing this game.

speaking of inventory anyone got a solution or some tips on keeping it nice and orgnized? When ever(if ever) I get on SL tonight I think im gonna go threw my mass of an inventory and clean out some unwanted old things.

I am not sure how many items I have in inventory but probably too much :P My clothing folder is the only one organized and it's similar to Coco's only I try to buy only items that are copy / no trans, that way I have complete outfits organized by folder and I just have to drag them on me.

My objects inventory on the other hand, looks like a bomb hit it and I rarely remember to empty the trash can.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover I only have around 6,000. The majority of them are textures and clothes I made.

well over 30k, delete my account and you guys can all log in.

Funny enough a lot of it is 10sec song clips from back before we had streaming audio, so i have a TON of music files..... tons o scripts that i'll probably never reuse, snapshots/textures and of course objects.

Plan on cleaning it all this week targetting under 10k when finished.

I, too, keep my favorite outfits in folders. And some I have special makeup for. It's easy just to drag the folder on myself and have already the right jewelry, shoes. I'm always behind on putting outfits together with makeup, though.
