My experience is that the old version perfromed a lot better. I love some of the extra features we have with 1.6, but I would give them up to go back to not crashing many times a day.

I only say it because no matter what, you won't be happy here. I have nothing against you personally, which is why I apologized for you misunderstanding my earlier comment.

However, at this point, you had said that you were leaving. So, felt justified in saying goodbye.

Also, have a sparkly is a shortened version of "Have a sparkling day" which is something I say to everyone.

Si as one example I believe SL version 1.6 was released for reasons other than what they claim. I was informed by an anonymous Linden..hold on now, people are gonna eat me alive with this, grr...I was informed by an anonymous Linden that video streaming at 1.6 was put out to put me out of business. This is what I was told and I believe it. I believe they would implement one upgrade to f%ck with one resident. I have no reason not to believe it.

Once back in beta I got into an argument with some people in Kissling and Cory Linden shows up. After he judged the entire situation wrong we ended up arguing with each other. He then suspended me. I was told on my return by anonymous Linden that my suspension was "considered a victory by some at LL".

Lindens have stalked me in world, mislead me, and ganged up together numerous times to offer no support, justice, or customer service for this old customer since beta. Lindens will outright compete with us at a very childish level and you want proof. There is none. Shall I break into LL and open up all the logs? I don't think so.

It's their world and we are just pawns.

2. Do it verbosely, leaving out no names, including logs, evidence, etc

You can't do it any other way -- because nobody will believe you. It's like claiming you saw bigfoot.

I'm sorry, I've heard your lamentations before, but I'd say tough toenails. Industries are disrupted constantly by new technologies. Sometimes you have to come up with new models because old business models are made obsolete. Sorry, it happens. It can happen to anyone. It's luck of the draw. The ones who fail kick and scream and cry because they're upset they're no longer relevant. The ones with staying power re-invent themselves continually, staying ahead of the curve.

Someone told you in another thread that you should write a book. I guess you could, but I think pretty much any businessman understands that at any given moment, the rules can change and you'd better be quick to re-invigorate your strategy.

If you'd like more information on this, check out the book Who Moved My Cheese. It's very big in management circles.

Also, paranoia is amusing but not credible.

Okay, there's some sillyness going on here. You're in the TV business. Video streaming is coming to Second Life, allegedly to put you, a TV producer, out of business. Furthermore, you get a heads-up that video streaming is going to destroy your TV business. The idea is: adapt and change your business strategy. Rewrite scripts to take advantage of video streaming. As the saying goes, "Innovate or die."

Back to the topic (was there one?): LL can't please *everybody*. Old schoolers will get fed up and leave, bemoaning the "good old days, with x and y and z." New players will come in and love what LL's been doing. It's the damn circle of second life. *roll*

I've been in virtual words since '96. I've seen oldschoolers get pissed over changes and newbies take power from the oldschoolers.

The point is: Change happens. Have fun. Enjoy what you've got. Remember, nobody's forcing anyone to play. Oh yeah, have fun.

Well I am not having that much problems, but i do have them. Many knew that we were going to have patch after patch faster then all the resent major upgrade. But we have to sit back and see what LL has in store for us. No bitching from me just waiting "sigh"

I doubt any of this carries much truth if you haven't been perma-banned yet. If they really didn't like you, and they abused power like you said, you'd be gone faster than a protester at the RNC.
