Anyone have a Bajoran earring set? (Lame attempt to keep it SL related, but still way off topic.) That was a classic. I think I like the episode where the new ensign Ro helps Picard expose the genocidal attack planned against the Bajorans the best. If I remember correctly this was the first appearance of the Bajoran people. P.S. Did anyone ever notice that Ro wears the earring on her left ear? I thought any "good prophet fearing" Bajoran wore it on the right.

I don't know the difference really... but I remember I liked Kira's... or maybe just Ro's to keep on topic  [Edit]And from what I have read... it only says they are worn "most often" on the right ear. No specific religious reason or mandate. And each specific earring is unique, but there may be a family insignia that is passed down. |

oh, great to hear about Bajoran earrings in here. i always liked Kira's given name too, "Nerys". i thot that was so pretty. Deep Space 9 was decidedly a darker tone of Star Trek with some very profound, conflicted stories to tell. i appreciate the humanistic element in it, the optimism shining through, much as i appreciate it in SL despite the conflict that is apparent (perhaps moreso on here in some ways than inworld).
i haven't seen Bajoran earrings in SL yet, but i have seen ear-to-noise chains like the ones Briana Dawson and Taessa Weaver (i think) wear, that are related in my book.
if someone's wearing a nice set inworld, let me know. i'd like to see!
(Jem Hadar av would be brownie points, complete with personal cloaking.)
