From: Lauren Linden Wow. I'm learning a lot from your feedback. Keep it coming. We'll be making updates continuously to improve the site. I'm glad that most of you like the direction we're heading in.
Thank you! Lauren Linden It would be good if you said *somewhere* the cards you take, or other methods of paying you. Currently you have to choose a name and then find out out that you don't take a lot of debit cards... It may seem obvious in the US (I have no idea) but it's not here (UK) - debit cards are much more common. I remember this being one of things that infuriatated me when I first tried to sign up. It was only the fact that absolutely everybody I knew from TSO had come here, and the radio station I worked for at the time streamed here, that made me persevere. If a company makes it hard you presume they don't want your money. More international stuff would be good - to show the diversity of residents. If you think you are likely to be the only Brit you are not going to join. I'm not proposing a secondlife.co.uk (although that would be cool - but we'd need to watch out for VAT) but the site still has a strong American rather than international feel about it. I don't know how to alter that. If you compare amazon.com with amazon.co.uk you can see that they are different - you can tell them apart without seeing the currency or title bar. I'm not exactly sure what it is - I think it may be tones of colours. The "feel" is different. This is something I'm trying to work out as a brit who sells in game to a majority US audience. In SL 4.0 (!) I would imagine there will be different language web sites anyway - secondlife.de in German, taking payment in Euros etc. Sorry if this is a bit random...

From: Torley The Magnificant Do you feel the front page map should be ornamental and stylized though, a la some of the decorated Magellan maps which have appeared before?
I dunno, it could be stylized, I was thinking more of a version of the in-world map, but on the website. The thing that I kinda find a bit, erring, is having it on the front page. Like, its good to show the size of SL, but hmm. I dunno.

From: Layne Under I'll bless the Lindens more if I could get in world! I can just see it now.. a new player looks at our wonderful new website, decides to give SL a whirl, downloads the software, probably updates graphics drivers too only to sit for longer than it took to complete all the aforementioned steps JUST to log in!!!!! Now this is NOT what I pay for.. lol.. to sit trying to be patient as we are all asked to do and wait 20 minutes and counting now just to get in game.
phew!
a not so patient angel Heh. It's been taking me over a hour the past 3 days Last night finally turned off my firewall long enough to log in and then turned it back on. That only made it two attempts to get in with the firewall off.

From: Lauren Linden We DO have some unused profiles. It was nothing personal, since we mostly did a quick drag & drop. We will be rotating the profiles and adding more soon! Thank you for your help and input! Don't lose hope! : )
Thank you, Lauren Linden Boy, was my head in the sand about this one. How and when could I have submitted a profile?

there's something weird about seeing:

in the same graphic item
