yeah what i particularly dig is that this is like a more live-n-direct WINDOW INTO THE WORLD, both for current Residents and those who are on the outside and curious about SL. It is far more informative, and fun. :D

I like the little resident profiles - that's a great feature for prospective residents!

I love clubs blaze! If the Cannabis Cathedral was still around, you'd find many FIC members gettin down and, later on, gettin dirty. ;)

Why are only 1000 of the 27000 members on line at 9 p.m. prime time at least on the East Coast?

Very nicely done. Where are the screenshots coming from, I wonder? Do they change?

I'd really like to know how they're going to keep mature pictures out of that.

I guess if you send a mature picture to the main website, you'll get banned because they're only using PG sims for the pictures?

That's because login is impossible, quite literally. I don't know what's going on, but I do know I'm not the only one trying to get it.

once I get in I'm going to check to see I the number goes up :D , but that may never be.

I'll bless the Lindens more if I could get in world! I can just see it now.. a new player looks at our wonderful new website, decides to give SL a whirl, downloads the software, probably updates graphics drivers too only to sit for longer than it took to complete all the aforementioned steps JUST to log in!!!!! Now this is NOT what I pay for.. lol.. to sit trying to be patient as we are all asked to do and wait 20 minutes and counting now just to get in game.

phew!

a not so patient angel

Cool design. That clicking on the map and seeing neato torpedo screenshots totally would have lured me in.

Lots of time to enjoy the website....
05-12-2005 19:36
I agree Torley, the website is wonderful. Now if only I could get in game too! I've been having troubles all week logging in and porting. I'm with you Layne in your observation that a new player is not going to stick around for this lack of responsiveness. Heck, a lot of long time players are saying screw it and finding other things to do. Right now my game of solitaire is looking better and better. *chuckles* At least it works....
