What's the big deal? It's always been inconsistent. There always have been favoritism. Oh ok then. Let's just accept that and move on. No biggie.  Maybe it's just as simple as it seems, they too agree that your posts are getting fucking annoying so they're doing something about it. Maybe they do agree I'm fucking annoying. But then why not say so instead of manufacturing some bullshit new rule about not using the offtopic forum for joke threads and accusing me of 'weeks of personal attacks' which is untrue? To even mention paying $200 to get singled out is just a lame move. Crying over getting your feelings hurt and threatening to not pay your $200/mo because of the forums just seems silly to me. I assure you I'm not in the least bit hurt or crying. Sorry to burst your bubble. I am fucking annoyed though. Annoyed enough to stop giving them my money every month. If that is silly, so be it. But it's my money - I don't see how any of you can call me out for how I choose to spend it... there are PLENTY of people that have tiered down in protest at one or another thing that LL have done. |

Of course, the question is not what the Lindens can do, but what they should do. IMV if the Lindens implemented a simple rule these forums would be far more manageable. Rule no. 1. Postings will be deleted if they contain racial hate speech or anything that is illegal in the United States. Repeated violations will lead to a warning or suspension. That's it. There is no need for any other rule in the Land of Free Speech *cough*. It does seem very strange to me that known racists are still inworld, while one of the victims they targetted is apparently not, and that instead of dealing with real issues the Lindens seem to be concerned with dealing with a 'problem'that is only considered to be a problem by a minority of the people here. Tomorrow they can make a rule that whoever's name starts with an 'I' will permanantly have the signature 'fucktard' if they want. No. Linden Lab is a small company. They don't have an army of 20 mods to police the forums, editing out naughty bits and slapping offenders with reprimands. Their forum moderation is a part time job, at best, and wholly unsatisfying, I'm sure. Every thread that gets pushed around, edited, or locked gets at least one more person up in arms about the "Linden Police State". If you want forum censorship, go to the stratics forums. I just found this thread. Firstly, I hope no one is suggesting that I am one of the Linden favored ones because that would be a fucking joke. I have been SUSPENDED and have received many warnings. Additionally, my threads always get deleted or locked.
Secondly why are you making such a big deal out of a warning? The joke thread was not funny. It served no purpose except to mock the people, like myself, who suggested you that both Kris and Willow can be hella obnoxious at times and need to stop hijacking other people’s threads. I felt the warning was appropriate. Keep pushing that envelope Kris! Suspension is right around the corner. You go girl! |

I actually didn't say anyone was favoured, I was pissed at a few things being said, as I am not obnoxious and I don't like people analyzing me and getting it wrong, but I can see everyones point and calmed down the trolling..
