From: someone Do a Poll on weather we should have inteviened in Europe agaisn't Hitler, I wouldn't be suprised at some of the votes. No need, it is a historical fact that many Americans supported the Nazis and were totally against joining the war in Europe. That is why there are theories about the government allowing Pearl Harbor to happen, in order to have an excuse to join the war against the people's will. - T -

- T - Pearl Harbor happened because of inadequate Radar Technology from low flying Japanese Kamakaze. Disregard this comment. It was based on previous propaganda.

You should see the video Fahrenheit 12-7 where there is undisputable evidence it was all a government conspiracy to get the US into an unjust racial war against the Empire of Japan. - T -

Well..if indeed this research is correct on Pearl Harbor, so be it. www.independent.org/newsroom/article.asp?id=408FDR also declared himself a Democrat. *Wonders what would have been if the U.S. didn't interviene with Hitler.*

From: Blake Rockwell *Wonders what would have been if the U.S. didn't interviene with Hitler.* The French would eat schnitzel and drink beer. North Africa would probably have less religious strife and be a lot cleaner. We would buy oil from Germany. Brittain probably would not have backed Israel. There would be considderably fewer Germans in Central and South America. The world would have been unaware as to what went on in concentration camps. Lederhosen would be popular. And last but not least, there would be no bugs bunny vs Hitler cartoons. (edit) The Russians still would have kicked Germany's ass back to Poland at least.

The question is, would we be saying Heil Furher? Well those of fair skin and blonde hair maybe. Then again, I haven't investigated Nazism to a large extent either.

I suspect that the war would have taken longer, perhaps a lot longer, but the outcome would have been much the same in the end.
If the Brits hadn't been such big Hitler fans, they'd have joined in sooner themselves, and it might have been over quicker, but as it is, they (we?) waited until Britain was threatened before jumping in...

From: Blake Rockwell Which brings up the issue of Pre-emptive strike. Well, not quie, since the Nazis had already invaded most of Europe by that stage, and the UK had been asked for help on several occasions. However, there were ties between the rulers of England and Germany which kind of precluded action. Still, I'm no expert on the era, so someone who knows more could clarify it for you. You can't compare that to Iraq, who let's be honest, never really posed a threat to Europe or America. Unless, by threat you mean a lot of mouthing off by a tinpot dictator who'd probably have got his arse handed to him by Israel if he'd kept on much longer.

A farmer planted 100 seeds, some died; some lived, but in the end he had a full crop.
