23.7-ish, but my hair thinks it's older... I'm going grey already. *pout*

I'm somewhere in the midst of my 30's, and that's all I'm gonna say. I have more knowledge, better credit, a bigger house, better taste, a nicer car and more stuff than I ever had 10 years ago, and I expect I will be able to say that same thing with each new decade! :D

Edit: Well maybe not the house thing, 'cause when the kids graduate, we're ditching the house in the 'burbs and going for a condo in the city. ;)

I'm 35.

I know this because I just got the letter through reminding me that my warranty has expired, suggesting all the grave things that'll undoubtedly go wrong with me now I'm out of warranty, and fortunately saving the day by offering me a very special deal on an extended warranty for my body for the next 5 years. Only I read the small print and it's a return-to-base deal. Bastards.

It was suggested to me last night by the brilliant Buster Peel that some of the cultural clashes and divides in SL are caused by the generation gap and by age differences. Of course, on the Internet, you can't see someone's age and that means the age-old obstacle of age and agism is thankfully removed, enabling many bright young minds to be free. It also prevents many old bright minds from helpfully reminding the bright young minds that they should be doing their homework or finding that useful after-school job, or letting their Moms know they are out this late.

This is a poll that nobody can say has the categories "wrong" or "biased". You're either an age, or you're not LOL whereas great minds can differ on the issue of whether you're a professional if you do marketing.

Of course, somebody might bark at me leaving out those older 75 -- please DO complain, senior citizens! And they could bark that I put 18-21 in its own category, but that's because at least in the US, every state has its own age of majority, and this can be 18 or some and 21 for others, and 21 is widely agreed to be a kind of cut-off point for the entrance to adulthood.

This poll is anonymous. Nobody can see who you are on your answer.

I find this whole thing rather amusing considering the recent vitriolic that you touted over Nolan’s irrefutable disrespect to your personal privacy.
Now you turn around and play catty knowing full well people will own up to their ages. Hence a step in the same methodology that may have lead Nolan down the path to finding information out about you.

I feel this thread is a direct violation to the very inane banter that Prokofy decided to spout recently with “their” woe is me threads.

Linden Lab, please destroy this thread.
I request this to protect the privacy of those that have posted thus far.
Or you could say I am requesting this for you to uphold the very “TOS” / ”CS” that was ranted about previously on this same topic of Real Life Information.

Thank you for your time and patience in regards to reading this.

Sincerely, Shadow Weaver

P.S. Prokofy Agism is spelt AGEISM and those run on sentences have got to go.

43.75 :)

My warranty might have ran out at 35, but my body/energy lasted till 40. Funny thing is that is the same age that I got married the second time and moved to the middle of a dry county. Wonder if there is any correlation?????

I'm surprised it took 3 pages for someone to point that out.

I didn't vote since physical and mental ages are in two different groups.
