Conservatives want all liberals gone as much as liberals want all conservatives gone. And neither group actually constitutes 50% of the population, or even realistically close to it. _____________________

Well I will at least assert that yes I am very upset. And that may be affecting my opinion. But one quality that the other side likes is "resolve", and I feel that for now, I do have -resolve-.
It has also been shown that if I do change my mind, that is more of a sin than having the opinion in the first place. So, therefore, I will not change my mind about division of this country at this point. |

Don't Conservatives want all of the Liberals out of America or at least eliminated? Conservatives want all liberals gone as much as liberals want all conservatives gone. Right, So my original argument stands. Excellent. Please tell me you guys are joking! Neither of you really want to silence all dissent from your opinions in your ideal "countries" right?! (^_^);; P.S. Great original post Trinity! I agree with you 100%! Sorry it's been hijacked by poor losers/winners. _____________________

Right, So my original argument stands. Excellent. So THEY can have their Cowboy-Country, and the terrorists can attack THEM. We'd just have to figure out how to split the country, since the blue states don't fall in a single cluster, but two areas. While the "Red States of America" could likely bomb the hell out of the blue, being costal, the Blue States of America could probably restrict trade, by being coastal. Sounds great to me. And we should remember, there a LOT of Republicans living in places like CA, MA, NY. And plenty of Democrats throughout plenty of red states too. I look forward to Michi coming to forcibly relocate me to a solid red state. Course, not sure how much I'm going to argue in person with a dragon. |

It has nothing to do with silencing dissent, Aestival.
It has to do with hate. And two categories of people who hate eachother. The opposing non-conservative opinion in the US has been effectively illigitimicized and silenced anyways. It's over - if you aren't conservative, you don't exist. I don't believe anyone should be forcibly relocated. I believe they'll do it on their own to be with their brothers in ideology. You have to understand, I spent all last night covering the state GOP convention - when people announced, "And God willing, the Democratic party will fall apart, forever", the room cheered. This is about destruction of dissent by the Red people. If you are not Red, it's about survival. |

I Love America. Americans in a overwhelming voice declared Bush the President and put more Republicans into office to further the Republican Agenda. Democrats are out of touch with America.
Thank God for George W. Bush. The left wing liberals with their goals of a "rainbow agenda" just doesn't sell with the majority of Americans. Times are changing and they show a (CLEAR) movement towards a Conservative America. GOD BLESS AMERICA -Alby |

What if you aren't White and Christian, Alby?
This is a song from the mid 60's that I believe Alby will be proud of. "Oh, we don't want n*ggers in our schools, we're not for integration, let's keep those n*ggers in their place, we'll be a better nation... A proud tall band of white men, conservatives we'll be, let's keep those n*ggers in their place, this land will still be free." (1965, "The Coon Killers", released on EP.) |

While I think the Democratic Party may need some soul-searching starting now, the Republicans have likely just delayed their long night of the soul til 2008. Assuming Bush continues on his more partisan streak, will the Republicans try to further that agenda, or try to consolidate it, or back off it a bit in 2008? Frankly, I think Bush got more than a bit lucky this time around. Whatever Bush-clone you can find for 2008 likely won't have those advantages, and the free mind/free market of the Republican party is getting nervous. |

The Facts still stand. Bush is the President and the Republicans hold a Majority in the Congress and all Liberal ideals will be axed in favor of Conservative ideals for America.. woot woot.... The Liberals just can't stand it.. They lost again and are crowing about 2008.. LOL.. Thats another 4 years from now.. You all said the same stuff after 2000. So 8 years later, it'll be time for new leadership. But it'll be Republican Leadership... All because the Democrats just don't get it... LOL |

What about the Truth about the Mud Races, Alby, if you -are- black? Michi: Word of advice.. You can recite history all you want, but your failing to see the future because your blinded by your own propaganda of the past. The Past is the Past. The Future can always be changed, the past cannot. You can either dwell on the past or work for a better future. And I see you've chosen the past. Let me clue you in on some people who are working for the future. Michi's History Lesson 101: --------------------------------- 1862 President Abraham Lincoln is the first president to meet with a group of black leaders 1864 The Republican National Convention makes the abolition of slavery a plank in its platform 1868 Oscar J. Elliot chairs South Carolina delegation to the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia 1872 John R. Lynch is elected Speaker of the Mississippi House of Representatives; he will be elected to US Congress in 73 1875 Blanche K. Bruce of Mississippi becomes the first African-American elected to a full term in US Senate 1884 John R. Lynch is the first African-American to preside over the Republican National Convention; gives the keynote address 1901 President Theordore Roosevelt invites Booker T. Washington to dinner at the White House 1920 The Republican National Convention declares that African-Americans must be admitted to all state and district conventions 1954 President Dwight Eisenhower appoints J. Ernest Wilkins as Assistant Secretary of Labor 1960 Jackie Robinson, the first black Major League Baseball player, endorses Nixon for President 1966 Edward W. Brooke (R-MA) is the first African-American elected to U.S. Senate by popular vote 1968 Arthur A Fletcher is appointed Assistant Secretary of Labor; he will be a candidate for Chairman of the Republican National Committee in '76 and appointed Chairman of the US Commission on Civil Rights in '90 1975 President Gerald Ford appoints William T. I try to look on the bright side, but in all honesty, I'm losing hope that mankind will ever evolve out of the greed/self interest mindset. We've just confirmed, as a nation, that we respect corruption, dishonesty, selfishness, and greed. Too many folks out there willing to follow with their eyes closed tightly. I wonder what new, disgusting turns our leaders will take in the coming four years. Welcome to the Corporate Dictatorship of North America. All hail our dim-witted puppet President! I'm so very proud...
*packs up bags and heads to New Zealand to become a sheep rancher* Oh wait..this was a postive thread..sorry. Gee-wiz! Let's unify in hatred and intolerance. Let's unify by getting lobotomies together. Let's all bow down and pray to Cash-all-mighty..err..I mean God. Oh wait, is that the government sanctioned god? Cause I wouldn't wanna be labeled a heathen or terrorist and end up in some shithole prison for four years with no proof or legal representation. Best keep a close eye on your neighbor and turn them in if they do anything suspicious. Be a good citizen and don't trouble your little mind about things. Trust in the administration, cause they only have your welfare in mind... And yes I'm upset, and can't even begin to comprehend why about 80-90% of the United States population isn't upset as well.. _____________________

I DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOUR PEOPLE'S PAST, ALBY.
IF YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT REPUBLICAN HERITAGE, LOOK ONLY TO THE LYNCHINGS IN THE SOUTH. THE ONLY reason the GOP has appointed ANY blacks is to have a LESS BIGOTED APPEARANCE back when they NEEDED IT. They do NOT NEED IT NOW. How do you plan to eliminate those of us who are not Conservative and Christian? Answer my question. |

How do you plan to eliminate those of us who are not Conservative and Christian? Answer my question. I don't plan on eliminating anybody Michi.. You'll just pass away when your life expectancy reaches its ends.. My job is recuiting new members to shape a new tomorrow. You keep harping about the past. Did you also know that Lincoln was a Republican and free'd the slaves while the Democrats were the Slave Masters in the South who wanted to keep you in chains? So don't go harping history when its a worthless arguement. You can't change the past, but you can change the future. And you cannot change the future when your on the outside. And you my friend are on the Outside looking in. You have a choice to either join in the change or remain an outcast. Doesn't matter to me.. I'm on the winds of change.. And so are many others. You need to acknowledge the direction the wind is blowing else you'll be a lone voice in a sea of darkness. |

Alby, I am a Republican. Yep, Republicans hold all the cards at the moment, but there is still a lot of dissension in the Republican ranks. Winning helps gloss over those fractures to be sure, but Bush has not avoided putting a chisel in those cracks from time to time. The Republicans have been rather good at keeping its factions together, much better than expected, but the open race in 2008 is a major hazard. The Democrats could come out of this strong, or they could implode, waaaaay too early to tell.
Alby, enjoy the win, no harm there. But I'll admit to a bit of buyer's remorse, cause now I know which candidate flaws I have to worry about. Sure, it's settled for four more years, but excepting a few celebrities threatening self-imposed exile, most of us are in it for the long haul. |
