ulrika, i don't think it's a letter-of-the-law question as much as a spirit-of-the-law
protecting each other's privacy is a good thing. Unless someone has made it publicly clear that a name is their alt (for example, Forseti Withnail is -- surprise -- me!), then I would hope that people do not try to "out" others without consent
