Anyone else buying stuff and not getting the items?

I've bought several things..and got the message saying "you paid so and so $$" but I have no item......I relog... no item.....


Example : I bought a texture from textures unlimited...took my money, I got the folder, bought another one, took my money, no folder.


This has not only happened to textures unlimited..but also at pixeldolls..I know it's not their faults...just wondering if this has happpened to anyone else?

Thus far, no ones responded to my IMs as to a refund or a replacment of the items.

It's not just you. I've had this happen to a couple of my customers at Little Rebel too. Seems to be completely random.

actually the asshat server has been acting up lately...5 minute transfers to people less than a meter away and so on...look for it in about an hour...prolly about the time I am able to finally log in

Yes I had this happen tonight. I bought an object, the money left my account and everything just hung.

I waited and waited. Finally like 10 minutes later it seemed, the thing came through to my inventory.

So I would suggest remaining on the sim where you bought the thing to make sure it goes into your inventory.

Obviously the game is laggy and buggy tonight.

Actualy its kinda weird but I bought a THINC book once, then I saw it in my invintory, Crashed, and then it poofed, O.o

I bought an outfit last night...and still don't got it.

It happened to both me and another girl at pixeldolls earlier. Bought an item and the money was sent but no item. I did stick around for about 15 min to send Neph an IM explaining what happened and then shortly after had to log out and haven't been able to log back in to see if I got the items. Hope this gets fixed.

Update....one of the items i bought during this incident showed up in my inventory today, still missing the other. Absolutely Bizzare!

I bought two dresses from pixel dolls two days ago. One transfered normally, the other was lost in a lag wave, yet my money shows tendered in my account history. I IMed Neph several times to let her know of the problem. She must be extremely busy or on vacation, as she is always VERY prompt to return a customer's IM. So I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt that she knows and is just unable to respond at this time.

Is it just me, or did alot of the inventory issues really get nasty when they tried the streaming inventory approach with 1.6?

I know we have seen more and more cases of our prefabs becoming corrupt upon transfer to new owners. I have a feeling Shadow is correct that it is most likely the ass hat server.

I bought pasties on Wednesday, had the problem before with the person, so left them an IM. It took mine and a friend's that I was shopping for, and never got my pasties...but then again with the login problems I'm not holding it against the creator. I also bought a pair of pants (after buying some other items from the same store) and they never came through...once again, took my money. I waited bout 20 minutes, nothing happened. Relogged...never showed up. So I IM'd the creator about that too...It's starting to become annoying. I love trying on the stuff I buy...be damned if I can wear it if I don't get it yet it takes my friggin money -.-

Ouch! Sorry to hear that...If I had to buy it again...nope. I'm stingy. If I know I bought it I want my item at the normal price lol

shopping would imply that i was able to get inworld in the first place.

Its happened to me twice in the last several days. I bought some hair and it did not come to me after I paid for it. The creator/designer made sure I got it once I contacted her. That was a couple days ago. Today it happened again. I'm waiting to hear from the offline I left, but I'm sure if I'm having a devil of a time getting in, that person is also.

I was having this problem with some of my vendors that sell expensive items, so I just set the items to sell copies since Linden won't do inventory checks or give us any way to notify when an object was received..

It's a pain in the neck, glad to hear it's happening to others though. =-( I was starting to feel like a freak.

The asset server is worse today than ever, someone should tell them we want them to work on making it better, not work on making it worse.. LOL.. <is grouchy today>

Yes, I've had reports of this happening to a few of my customers recently. In one case their money didn't even reach me - in the other cases the money transferred but the objects didn't go into their inventory. Its very disturbing that this is such a widespread problem... hope it gets resolved soon.

I've also noticed extremely long transfer times when just sending / giving an item to someone.

It's extremely disturbing. I love to shop...it's like what I'd love to do as a RL job (lmao) as I just adore doing it. But some people might try to work it to their advantage, and that is the scary problem. Cause then the creators of the wonderfully scrumptious outfits will stop giving the items out cause they don't know if it really happened or not :/

Just to clear up the non response to replacement I replaced the missing items as soon as I returned from eating dinner.

I've had it happen to me several times with several different designers. Each and everytime it was when lag spiked, I really hope all these problems are fixed soon. It sucks not being able to log in.
