Hey, my house was along that route... I live on the NW corner of Afton.
I need to check my visitor counter... it must be bursting at the seams, lol.

Actualy, I was surprised when a visitor counter greeted us instead of the usual "GO AWAY YOURE NOT WELCOME HERE", got a nice little "Welcome!", might have been yours. :)

Oh and thank you for the shirt Ursula, they look great!

Going to try and post some pictures but they'll end up being upside down or blurred or something.. the flash didn't go off.. ANYWAY..

I was only there for about the first hour crashing into everyone (including Cubey and a Linden!) on my bike.. But I got what was coming to me...

Edit: Ok your gonna have to click the links coz I can't work it out!

Fantastic event, Cubey. I'm just glad I switched from pumps to hiking boots early in the trip. :)

Seems like we spent a lot of the trip underwater; good thing my avatar is wash-and-wear. Here's a shot of Hamlet Linden dropping in for a visit around Alviso:

Planet Mars for the octagons, and it's a Starax artwork.

THANKS PLANET AND STARAX!!! YOU MADE OUR FUN ADVENTURE EVEN MORE ENJOYABLE!!! :D

If anyone who wants to visit this location where we had our group photo, head to:

Deimos (16,22)

Can't believe I missed this post, thanks for pointing me towards it Torley :)

The octagons are actually hexagons, I made it a while ago, I was trying to make a copy of Giants causeway in Ireland (Google isn't finding me any good pics of it at the moment but have a look here )

If you do go over to Deimos, I've only recently started making a park area containing sculptures by various artists, walk through the tree's up the hill from the Giants Causeway and check out the river/waterfall too, there is quite a lot to find/look at in the area now, and more to come :)

Oh, beautiful. Thanks for the additional information, Planet -- it fills more of the story in and it's a joy to hear. Ahhh... voyagers we be, whether it's offline or in Second Life! :)

Oooo awsome.

Its funny, I was originaly thinking hexagons, then edited it to octagons.

Giants Causway looks like an interisting place.

Going Walkabout, Part Trois
02-16-2005 09:52
I've decided that the next logical step in my Walkabouting is to take it to real life. Today, starting at noon, I will walk across my living room, from the sofa all the way to the kitchen. If anyone wishes to join me, meet me at my sofa. I'll give out sandwiches when we reach the finish line.

:D

Try turning off the "avatar vertex" option in Preferences. On some video cards, it will cause problems like making face textures black.

I reccomend a "hells angels" type ride across the countryside in motorcycles. Along the way we could hassle small, unsuspecting sims, and old lady av's.

I'll begin work on the chains and tire irons immediately.

Put up a map of the route, and I'll put it on a commemorative tshirt! :D
