LOL yeah there's someone who should really be allowed to own firearms. Was that a photo of the array of munitions you have stored in your cabin in the woods in case all those scary minorities and gays rise up on you someday?

You know, this is the reason the sterotype of the 'trigger-happy, homophobic, racist, intolerant, self-rightous, hill-billy jerk American' exists around the world.

Agreed! But! let me just say that not all hillbillies are like Christopher. Some of us are sensitive, well educated, concerned invidiuals who believe all people should have some respect.

The Glock is a great sidearm. Light and can take a lot of abuse with nary a jam. But I do prefer the Ruger with it's nice heft. I seem to be more accurate with heavier firearms.

And no, I'm not an evil hillbilly or a racist. I have been a target shooter since I joined the rifle team in Boy Scouts and competed in sharpshooting events. A very zen sport, IMHO.

Not everyone who shoots guns is automatically a bad person, y'know.

No rifles. No shotguns. No flintlocks for amusement's sake. Just modern pistols. TWICE.

Some celebration of diversity that is. Can't this troglodyte do anything right?

Ugh.

Never really could get into the tupperware family of Glock.
It has TONS of fans and TONS of reasons why!
However, Im not real big on hamerless firearms.
I cant even explain WHY I dont like them... just DONT. *shrug*
Was a MASSIVE 1911 nut for many many years... then one day I was running some plates with my racegun... and this guy shows up and we start swapping racks.
Now here I am with a Kimber, a Wilson, and a Colt and this kid is shooting MORE reliably with his Sig Sauer P220.
I remarked at his shooting and he said it was more gun than him and let me run a clip... the gun was BRAND NEW that day and was more accurate than ANY of the high end jobbies I was fooling with!

They all hit the safe that day and I picked up a An all stainless P220 at the gun shop. Rides real well in a Jackass Rig... hardly know its even there. Havent carried anything else since!

Ahem... unless you accidentally find out about the Walther in the fanny pack, or the *snicker* the single shot 410 derringer that sometimes lives in my right boot.
Wow!
I really DO Celebrate Diversity!
Really need to get into a single caliber and stay there though.
Which I think is the reason for the popularity of the Glock platform... 9 different sizes of 9mm? Lot of options.

It's just a hobby like any other. I don't see how discussing the technical merits of different firearms is "masturbating."

At first I never liked them much either. First time I picked one up it felt strange, especially since it's mostly made of polymer. And the bizarre trigger safety never really felt "safe" to me. But then I borrowed a friend's compensated Glock 17 on the range one day and really gave it a workout. I slowly learned to really like it...and when I broke it down to clean it and check out the innards I was really impressed with the simplicity of the design. So few parts to break or malfunction. And the thing was filthy and still worked flawlessly. They may not be everyone's cup of tea, but you have to appreciate the engineering that went in to making such a simple and reliable firearm.

masturbating?

Boy that would give a WHOLE new meaning to,
"When they pry it from my cold dead hands!"
Now wouldnt it?

But as I said I can think of a plethora of reasons to go Glock.
Ever seen the ads in magazines that go something like this:
Remove from box, fire 1000 rounds without cleaning.
Toss in mud puddle overnight.
Bury in bucket of sand overnight.
Freeze in block of ice overnight.
Chip away ice by running over with hummer.
Fire another 1000 rounds.
Now maybe you might want to clean it.
Glock.

Those things are just a mastery of engineering!
I guess the reason I am now so sold on the Sig P220 is the single as well as double action.
For as many years as I carried a 1911 cocked and locked and NEVER had a SINGLE incident, something deep down inside me had a forboding feeling when I looked down and saw that hammer raised.
:)
Now with the Double action, its pull, point, shoot, repeat as necessary or til you run outta bullets!
Hell this thing doesnt even HAVE a saftey!
Just a decocking lever and some whizbang inert firing pin that requires a trigger pull to engage.

But there I go off on my Gun Nut limb again :)
I Love the damned things!

As a side note
Fuck Off already Cristano.
If there is any masturbating going on its when you type one handed while assaulting me. I guess due to your previous post the other hand isnt on a gun, huh?

I posted that without reading the description, and now (directed at cristanio) i have a huge boner. its like OMG!! its like brininging an AK-47 back to korea and showing of what it can do. The modular-ness is awesome, so you can specialize, but still be using (mostly) the same weapon so im guessing that would cut down on training a little

That is incredible.

"This system also allows the weapon to fire more than 15,000 rounds without lubrication or cleaning in even the worst operational environments."

Amazing. Too bad, tho. I've always kinda liked the smell of good ol' Hoppe's solvent. Looks like in the future it will become an obsolete product.

"You used to CLEAN your firearms? How quaint!"

Well, some people prefer the dildos with the handle on it, but personally I like to penetrate my anus with a handless dildo to give me that gay pleasure.

As a sidenote, I'm against all guns unless you're shooting cans. I HATE hunting. Also, personal people shouldn't be getting bullet-piercing firearms. It's not neccasarry. Even if you ARE hunting, it's not like there are going to be any ducsk wearing Kevlar.

Oh, and no one likes you, Christopher.

Here's a Starship Troopers rifle:

Heh...the real H&K looks more sci-fi than that Starship Troopers firearm!

One more thing: you stole the diversity line from another site. I've seen it, Fark links to it.

If you're going to say something like that, you should at least make it up yourself.

Yes, it's much better to buy your meat at a store, guaranteed that the animal lived a miserable life in a factory farm eating crap and being pumped full of antibiotics. And ending it all with a few nice painful electric prods into a crowded slaughterhouse and finally catching a captive bolt gun to the head (that if you're lucky will kill you on the first try). But the meat looks so nice and painless and sanitized in those plastic wrappers in the grocery store, doesn't it?

Meat involves killing something, no matter how you slice it. People who hunt and eat what they hunt seem to be promoting a far more humane method of eating meat. People who condemn hunting and then buy ground chuck at the grocery store are blind to the truth that they are supporting something more terrible than they can imagine.

Just...my 2 cents! :P

<RANT OFF>

Oh, and I'm not a vegetarian. But I only eat or buy meat that explicitly comes from free range sources. And venison. Mmmmmm....venison.

I am so touched when you single me out directly, it makes me feel all warm inside. Darwin is right, go troll in WWIIOnline or something, it seems more your speed - and age group. You can fire off all the guns you want to, and run around pretending the war is still on. Perhaps find a nice Nazi support group or two that will relish in your hate filled, anachronistic views. You certainly don't belong here among intelligent adults.

Zero, that was in no way directed at you - it was pointed fully at Christopher. You are right, for many it is a hobby. For Christopher, it fits in with his KKK loving, faux patriotism spouting, homophobic hatemongering. Someone who espouses that much hatred for all things non-White heterosexual and Christian (and basically male, since he hates women too) is not the kind of person you want owning firearms, so to watch him get all lathered up over the technical merits of one gun over another is disturbing indeed.

OK. But I haven't heard him say "I like to use my guns to shoot people I don't like." And I understand how some people don't "like" guns. I don't have a problem with that. I personally don't like brocolli. Or cars. Or football. To each his own.

I personally dislike guns, but my feeling about them did not figure into this at all. Having read Christopher's hate filled postings for quite some time, the implied threat of violence seems always thinly veiled in his diatribes of hatred, so again, seeing him post about his love for guns is certainly unnerving in that context.
