That's what I noticed too. Since it's not there, I choose not to answer. Guess we know what didn't bring Blake to SL.

How many times do I need to say Option #3? Etc. lol.

I like the way people deal with life in sl, and how people slighty change for the good.

Sorry, I'm not 'voting' to include one of SL's most unique and interesting aspects (content creation) as an 'etc.' I choose not to vote.

i came to second life for two reasons:

to investigate the possiblity of using the software in our tutoring and elearning programs;

and to build environments the way i always wanted to when i was playing mmorpgs and modding fps games.

the first reason was a complete bust. the latter has been wildly successful. i still very much enjoy landscaping and building and not having to trudge through tread mills to do it. the people are an unexpected bonus that makes the whole experience more pleasant than i could've ever imagined.

it's well worth $46/mo and even worth the occassional aggrevation of bugs and downtimes.

my reason doesn't fit into your categories though so i'll not vote. but thanks for asking!

You see, our experts describe you as an appallingly dull fellow, unimaginative, timid, lacking in initiative, spineless, easily dominated, no sense of humour, tedious company and irrepressibly drab and awful. And whereas in most professions these would be considerable drawbacks, in chartered accountancy they are a positive boon.

I enjoy the artistic side of Second Life the most, since it is hinted that the creative area is part of number three in the "etc". Although, it seems to span a lot more than the rest of the choices given. The other choices are very specific, so I guess the people who voted number three aren't your target subjects in this poll. :)

11. Two year old bugs, and people's vehement overlooking them.

Yes, I find that fascinating in a train wreck sort of way.

I'd have to say everything. The people...designing...the ability to create almost anything you can imagine with a little time and effort... Can't beat that. I wish the real world was a little more like SL. I'd love to fly and teleport on a whim :p Being able to make rl $$$ from a "game" isn't to bad either. :D

10 choices
8 of which have to do with sex
1 with money
1 as a catch all for the rest of us?
