Why would a thread like this be closed?
This type of thread is not appropriate and does not provide any benefit to the Second Life community at large. Thus, it will be closed. I am sorry Jesse, but I have been playing SL for a while, and I think that threads like this are entirely appropriate. It is humor. Humor plays a large part of my SL experience. I like to attach a prim penis to my forehead every so often. If I enjoy humor and levity, do I not have a place on the forums? Let's discuss, but try not to be funny about it. _____________________

I'm with you. Morse gave me the first laugh I'd gotten in the forums today. Considering all the flaming, huge shovels of poo being flung... anything that makes me laugh is a plus.
Anyone else tired to death of all this crap? I can barely stand to open the forums anymore. Someone can make a lot of $L if they pass out Cliff Notes on the 5 page hate threads too. I should make a Nomex suit and pass it around. _____________________

Hmmm..no clue why that would be closed. Perhaps we need a list of acceptable humor subjects. Is ostrich humor allowed..while homeless humor isn't? Can we make fun of how goofy looking and beady-eyed the President is, but not make fun of Philip's burnt toast fetish? Hmmm..it's all so confusing..

It wasn't appropriate because it targeted two members of Second Life (you know that). I think I'm with Jesse on this one ... Unless I missed something that was edited out, I don't see it as talking about anyone specifically in any literal or inferred way. We are all dramasluts, especially YOU, LO! _____________________

That thread was not appropriate (humor aside) because it was obviously targeted at specific individuals. It is the equivalent of pouring salt in the wound of a sensitive forum issue I think the great majority of forum participants would like to simply see come to an end.
