Poor Chris...

Although your solution would likely work, I can't say that I'm with you there. Hey Chris - all in jest! I used to maintain the multiplayer gaming servers for Sierra... I know what its like! (This is why I switched back to software... )We used to have to fly between co-lo's in San Jose, Seattle, and NYC (next to the World Trade towers) to do on-site maintenance. I've spent a night during a snowstorm at JFK airport's Int'l Terminal (the only 24-hour part of JFK) with a $20,000 server between my legs... Makes for a loooooooong night!Take care, --Noel "HB" Wade (Tread Whiplash) |

He might enjoy both to much.. I was thinking of just letting him speak with Willow on the subject of The X Files.

Put it where?
02-01-2005 13:14
I hear some people pay alot for something in between their legs.. ...Or on their chests, in the case of some women... And yes, many of you don't know me yet; but my phrasing was carefully chosen. Considering that my ass was on the line with this particular machine, I figured putting the server between my legs was a good way to make sure I protected it very well. Mind you, that Metal HP case was COLD! Take care, --Noel "HB" Wade (Tread Whiplash) |

Ok, I haven't read most of this thread. I don't know how anybody could. However, Chris Linden is my favorite right after Testerd2 Tester.

Well, I have *the* answer to all this. Everytime there has been a postponement, I have gone to take a bath and it has popped up while I am gone. So, to help the process along, I, will go take a bath. Tell me how the start up went when I return.
