Update 2: I was overly optimistic earlier. In the last 20 min we have found a number of simulators that are having issues and are working diligently to fix them. While most simulators are having no issues, we are being extra cautious with this update to ensure there is no potential for asset loss. As we are still working through these issues I do not have an update on how long it will take. Be assured that as soon as I know more I will be posting it here.

Alarm Clock Alternative....
02-01-2005 12:55
I've got a novel solution to the Alarm Clock failure that plagued LL today...
We simply need to get Chris' home phone number, and hand it out on the forums. You can set your watch to the time here, just based on when people start bitching... So why not use that to guarantee that events will happen on time? Should Chris feel uncomfortable about his number being publicly posted (but with the fine upstanding citizenry here, I can't imagine why he'd feel that way... ), we could probably hide it in PHP code; and hack some kinda utility into Vonage that would let us ring his number on command, from the SL Website... Simple, elegant, efficient... Who's with me??? Take care, --Noel "HB" Wade (Tread Whiplash) |

Out To Lunch
02-01-2005 12:56
I have this vision of all the Lindens lounging around some sushi bar in S.F. having a leisurely lunch and laughing their a**es off while we post MADLY away and try to log on every 1 1/2 minutes. In reality they're probably scrambling around madly trying to get SL up and running but I kinda like my vision
