Hey ya'll
I'm new to the game and have spent the past few hours just kinda poking around. I was just curious what most of you do for fun. Tryin to get an idea of where to go and check out, meet some new friends... ect. Who knows, maybe I'll see some of you in the places that you say!

Heya Jamie, a warm welcome to Second Life. I'm Torley, I'm mainly an explorer around here, and I definitely like to make new friends.

As for fun... wow, big expanding question there. I have a journal of my SL adventures, it's up at http://www.torley.com if you're curious, I have lots of pictures there showing places I've been. Oh, all that, and I like watermelons.

I made a list of things i like...

Then searched for it in SL... under ”find”

There are a thread about what best to see in SL...

Places to visit:

/120/4f/44577/1.html

And this are ok to:

/120/f6/46585/1.html

...and if you search for special themas there are plenty...

Just last night, I went to a wonderful Jazz concert at Sulla Milk's place. But mostly, I like being around my friends, we go to a lot of clubs and dance and chat. My two personal favorites are the G-Spot and Lestats. Great people in both of them.

As mentioned in one of the other posts, I have trouble understanding slang, so I don't go to some of the "popular" clubs. But whatever your interests, you'll find something that speaks to you.

SL is a wide, varied world. Best thing to do is just explore and find your place in it. Welcome to SecondLife, I hope it's as fun and rewarding for you as it has been for me.

Shopping with friends is a blast! Stores and yardsales are great! Also try out tringo! Its SOOO addictive!!!!!
