Someone recently suggested a meatspace get-together for SL residents (though they put the thought more delicately, here). Of course, my first thought was, "Why, this should be held in <a certain East Coast city>." Why? "Because that's where I live." Then I figured maybe it would be better to find out where most SLers are hanging out in RL. Hence this poll. Edited to apologize for forgetting to include the rest of the world!

(edited) London? Yeah, that's right here in Ontario, Canada! About 2.5 hours away from me. Oh! You mean that other London...

(edited) Charlotte, my dear, I've spent a lot of time in London. Love it there. I've also spent briefer periods in Tokyo, St. Petersburg, Manila, Hong Kong, Nairobi, Abidjan, Monrovia, Cartagena, Paramaribo, Paris, Budapest, Rome, Prague, Madrid, Barcelona, Guadalajara, Fukuoka, Kyoto, Osaka, Vienna, Geneva and elsewhere, as well as many cities right here in the United States. My omission was what's known in my part of the world as an "oversight."

Must be grouse season.
If recent behavior is any indicator, I doubt some of those who are feigning being offended by this oversight would ever want to come spend time with us 'mericans anyway.
I am willing to bet had England been included that these two would've still found a way to turn it into a US bashing fest. "Why would I spend money to come visit the arrogant US" or some such rubbish. Afterall, one claims she hates people and it is no secret that both harbor animosity toward the US - and not just it's goverment as evidenced in this thread.
Why those who clearly have issues with the US in general, Linden Lab, and a good lot of SLers, continue to play, all the while tearing at any perceived slight like starving lions, is beyond me. Maybe this is their interpretation of "Your world, your imagination".
Pretty imaginative.
I also note that there are no other nationalities in here calling people twats or morons. Go figure.

Oh, you got me. For the record, unlike you, I don't hate people, especially women. You sure do a lot of assuming don't you? It's ok Charlotte, you'll find someone to hold your hand and make all the bad people go away someday.

From: Charlotte Gillespie Did you read the writing to the right? It's not there to say "I Hate Women", mate ... Yes I did. Boo-Hoo, you made me so upset with that clever innuendo that you didn't pen that I had to slam a couple pints of testosterone. I am sure you chose a pic with that message on the mirror by happenstance. Oh, and Charlotte, just so you know, from now on I won't be able to see what you write, not that it will matter, you'll just keep right on making up for those insecurities which cause you to lash out as such. Will you be my Valentine? I promise, no kissing in public. I now returning you to your regularly scheduled, disaffected, faux hard-ass, college student routine.
