I notice several people came here from Uru Live/Prologue - hello from 'T_S.'
![]() Before my (very) short stint on Live (basically the month of Jan), I'd dabbled with Diablo 2 LOD in Realm format. That was about as close as I got to an MMO experience, other than perhaps C&C: Renegade. But Live was shut down on or about the day of my birthday, so I was bitter and fell back to single-player, and moving to other forums (in particular for my notebook and car). I did not know about the emmigration of players to both There and SL until July, and decided to try this one first. Have stayed with SL since, even after UU came out (I deal with that too, on the Guild of Greeters server, and am active on their forum). I'll be on and off throughout Friday, over in Telador, talking with people about URU/Live/UU and working on a little project I got OK to place there. I was hoping to work on it tonight but RL work is 3rd shift for me... _____________________

I played Earth and Beyond before they shut their doors!!! I was at lvl 150 with my 3 main characters... Ricki: Jenquai Explorer, Cherrytwo: Progen Explorer and Izzybee (my favorite): Terran Tradesman.
I'd still be there if they didn't close down. Now I wouldn't go back after finding SL We used to complain about lag and downtime on EnB all the time...now I see it wasn't so bad afterall lol. Come on!!! Let me in!!! ![]() |

I played Everquest for 2 years before SL, as "Highhealelf": a 65 Cleric on the Nameless server & member of the guild Mystic Lords. Came to SL & never looked back ![]() Toon name sounds familiar, but heh *shrugs* god knows I have met/grouped with/hated/trained many a people in EQ during my 3 years playing it. LOL My RL husband was one of the most hated bards on the server. ROFL Kourdin Kilmor 70 Bard I pretty much stayed on the Nameless for all 3 years and finally gave up. Too many damned kids and their temper tantrums. LOL Kaedyn Kilmor 67 Cleric Kindryna Kilmor 56 Druid |

*waves to my old pal Andee from TSO*
Yup I'm a TSO refugee gladly escaped the kiddies long ago. Was a beta tester for TSO from the very beginning of Blazing Falls but became more well known in TSO for my antics in Jolly Pines as the owner and resident crazy lady at The Beverly Hillbillies. Name was Jade Wild. Ran like wildfire out of TSO with some friends to beta test an adult on line game called Sociolotron. At the time it was nice to be with adults but soon learned they too can act like a bunch of children at times , but I stuck it out and met some wonderful new friends along the way. Now that I've found SL wow those other games seem so antiquated!Glad you joined the ranks here Andee good to have my old buddy around ![]() |

Hmmm how far back you wanna go?
I guess the first real 'online game' I played was 'Habitat' A lot of years coding for different DikuMuds.. A few years coding different databases for LambdaMoo's Spatterings in between working on multiline chat systems for friends, wasting time on IRC... Played and coded more assorted Muds for different folks and played with friends... All my friends moved on to play EverCrack - I decided to put my efforts into the one thing I really enjoyed doing -- coding, not playing -- and started writing my own online game. Came across SL while taking a couple hours 'break' from coding one day - and decided to stay. Siggy. _____________________

omg i've been to soo many chats, i pretty much grew up on them
first chat ever was Serria online - i must have been 7-9 years old or something, i use to chat on lesuire suit larry casino and kids world i think, i remember selecting eyes and noses and stuff for your avatars. I probably had NO idea what was going on, i just liked the graphics. V-chat - dont really remember much about it, except it was crappy and i used print artist clipart for avatars Traveler - i hardly remember this, it must have come out when i was like 10 or 13, but voice chatting with people around the world, AMAZING! MSN comic chat - very breif, again i liked the cartoons i think The Palace - i still go on this time to time, i was there from the beginging though, someone gave me a free registration code which was $25 dollars back then ( i liked it because you can make your own avatars in pixel form) Vzones - i ended up somehow with a free avatar account from doing art for them, its the only reason i stayed as long as i did, pretty boring Habbo Hotel - VERY breifly, totally sucks besides the art There- this was REALLY fun at first, making shirts and exploring, but eventually it wore off. Then there was VOICE CHAT, which also was really fun for awhile, but now its just boring compared to SL. Now I'm in Second Life! |

Hmmmm.....lots and lots of games...but only a few worth mentioning....
Delta Force 2 - Been playing this since its release in 1999 - played Delta Force 1 before that. Was in a squad where I was the Main Cheese over a nice group of peeps. Found Second Life, and decided to hand over my leadership to someone who was totally devoted to df2 only, just a couple months ago. Still play the game, but only as a solo player. Also have branched off into the more updated Novalogic games - Delta Force Black Hawk Down, and Joint Operations. Everquest 1 - I liked the game quite a bit, but I started playing it right before the release of Star Wars Galaxies, so I never got far - lvl 14 Ranger -- too bad Star Wars Galaxies - Shadowfire Server - Iefia Moonrunner was my name, where I mastered the professions of Doctor, Pistoleer, Creature Handler, Marksman, Artisian, Medic, Tera Kasi Artist, and I'm sure I'm missing a couple others. I lived in Tatooine in a city called "The City of Blues". Rebel Alliance. Everquest 2 - This account is on pause right now, but I will be returning from time to time. Right now I am a Level 27 Paladin on the Kithicor Server....Iefia is my name there too. In a Guild called "Redemption" if they haven't kicked me out yet due to inactivity....geez, I better go visit the guild forum now. Soldier of Fortune 2 - Play from time to time Vietcong - Play from time to time TSO - played 2 free trial periods, always terminated account before time was up There - Tried for about 10 minutes...was out of THERE Offline Games: Sims 2 Working on CSI: Dark Motives So many more, too many to list |

This is my first MMOG.
Before here, I was addicted to certain SoulSeek rooms. (No, not the porn ones. Surprisingly.) Ironically enough, I came here mostly to escape drama. _____________________

Aces High ![]() Other online games I have played are Air Warrior 3 (as Flos), World War Two Online (Flossy), Seducity (Flossy) and I have a Life Membership in There, though I rarely visit these days (also Flossy). Years ago I also tried Cybertown, but only went on a couple of times. I just celebrated my first SL birthday last Saturday and must say it has been a very eventful first year! Made lots of friends and enjoyed every minute of it. ![]() _____________________

I played over 5 years of EQ, mostly on the Quellious server as a 65th bard named Poet.
I also played Aces High, and Air Warrior II & III before that. I currently play City of Heros a little, and though I didn't care for it at first (too boring), it's recently gotten a bit funner now that i team up more, and my son plays it so it's great to adventure with him. Well..until he runs off to look into a garbage dumpster, or try to climb a tree, while I'm fighting all the bad guys he dumped on me... My first MMORPG was Meridian 59. I may try WoW soon. I was eagerly lookin forward to it before it was released, but when it finally arrived I was just so busy in RL and SL, I didn't have the time to invest. I still don't, but everyone keeps telling me what I'm missing. _____________________

Before SL, I played TSO and There - I was Cristiano in both of them. I tried a bunch of other games, including EQ, SWG, DAOC, and a lot of other acronyms for crap, and hated them all. The only other thing that has captured my interest as much as SL is World of Warcraft

I also played Aces High, and Air Warrior II & III before that. but my husband (CPID Zeb Handle Zebedee, or Rusty in early versions) played AWII and earlier versions of AW for some time before that. My main concern in those days was the cost of playing and the phone bills!!! ![]() _____________________

Hrmmm not a lot to report. Munchflower Zaius and I used to be on the NYC Goth chat (www.nycgoth.com) before we discovered Second Life. I also played Civilization III for a little bit. I enjoyed that. Other than that, SL is IT for me when it comes to games.
On the other hand, at my previous job I did a lot of graphics using Bryce. I think that's what really attracted me to Second Life. Second Life felt like Bryce...with people that occasionally come along and bother you ![]() _____________________
