I played Everquest for 2 years before SL, as "Highhealelf": a 65 Cleric on the Nameless server & member of the guild Mystic Lords.
Came to SL & never looked back ![]() |

Welcome to the forums, Andee!
![]() This is my first multiplayer game, so I had no life! Age of Empires, Half-Life, Medal of Honor were the type of games I used to play, but I have never spent so much time or money in a game as in SL. - T - _____________________

This is my first online game/thingie. (Of course this is the first time my computer's abilities and my internet connection quality have meshed to the point where I could actually PLAY online games.)
Before SL, I got a lot more work done. I also hung out on the straight dope forums a lot. |

Then they took away tagging, the teenagers took over, and I went out seraching for something more Grown Up, HELLOOOOO SL! All the other Godmothers have joined me, and some Godfathers too, we LOVe it here, we left our families to the teenagers to run, miss them, but, errr, what was that game again? Blimey Cybertown... yes I remember that Quite some time ago now!I think it's still there, but you have to pay for it. God knows who still pays to sit through those tiny, disjointed 3D worlds loading up again and again. Still, it was great in 1997. |

I *know* there are or at least used to be Asherons Call rejects around here.
Met some a couple years back... maybe they moved on by now? Gamers are a flighty bunch huh? _____________________

I only focus on one or two video games at a time, but I get obsessed with them, as is currently the case with SL.
Before SL it was Warbirds, for about 4 or 5 years. I was in a squadron with a good bunch of guys, and we flew missions once or twice a week in the Historical Arena and scenarios. One of the crew, Lizking, who was also a WWIIOL nut, made a post about Second Life on our web forum. I was obsessed even before I could play it (Mac beta wasn't out yet). _____________________
