First off, the song was a request. I personally don't like it, but played it, because people like it, who listen to my stream.
Second, Don't be so self pretentious to think that just because you don't like something, doesn't mean other's don't. There's lots of music out there, and lots of tastes, deal with it. Be a grown up.
Third..if you are at a party, and don't like a particular song...hit the stop button for three minutes then turn it back on...not a big deal. No reason to go posting on the forums about how your opinion is supposedly just because YOU think so. "Oh, look see! see! It was played at a party! OF course it was....it was requested to be played!"
Fourth, be a grown up.
Fifth, if you don't like the music stylings of the party, no matter who's it is, leave. Period. You didn't, you put on a pretty face, acted llike you were all happy and jolly, then showed your two-faced personality, by posting here as soon as you left the party.
Sixth, be a greown up. If you don't like it, fine, shut it off.
Let the bodies hit the floors sux in my opinion, if anyone wants to hear it on WCRO, feel free to IM me.

Oh my. Hey Birthday Crow... I am not sure if this thread got serious or something or if there are injokes I am missing. I believe Hiro made this post yesterday, before he ever got to the HoP party. I shall use emoticons to indicate my moods. 1) I don't personally have a problem with the song about the bodies hitting the floor. I thought it was funny, what Hiro originally said -- and if I understood right, it was posted in humor, with tongue planted firmly in-cheek: From: Hiro Pendragon /removes tongue from cheek 2) I made some comments about this song during the recent party, such as the Count from Sesame Street liking it. I followed them with smilies. These comments were intended in jest and not meant to attack anyone's tastes. Kind of like the way I would say "techno music is mind-numbing, looped, repetitive robot noise". <--- this, was also made with the intent to amuse and not to offend.  3) Party on, dudes! Trin: Hahaha... I blame 'Laine and Jadey for getting me into that song. Blame them in a good way, of course. The live version is also kewlies. |

Did I insult you? No, 'course not! I just think it's ridiculous how often this song gets played and was poking a little fun at it. Ferran - the Die MF Die song ... please... don't encourage that one either, lol! Oh, and, I got a riddle: Q: What do you call an angry heavy metal rock band who makes lots of money, comes to terms with their anger, and learns to live a happier life?
