And you only had one type of vegetable to sustain you, what would be your choice??
Personally I'd go with cucumber, just cause they are yummy and retain alot of water and you can slice them and put them on your eyes to help with the crowsfeet.
Though cherry tomatos would be a close second.

Hmmm... If you only could have one you would get sick of anything you could possible choose after eating it day in and day out. I suppose then the choice would have to be for nutritional value.
I suppose spinach would be the choice unless there is a nutritionist out there who knows something better for you. _____________________

Potato sounds nutritious too. Anyone know which is better for you between Spinach & Potato? If you eat nothing but potatos you get all pale and translucent and ghost-like. You can see alot of folks on pure potato diets in old WWII pics. Though I agree that potatos are wonderful and oh-so-versatile! I think spinach or broccoli are probably two of the most nutritous. Tomatos are a fruit I guess, but they have great vitamin content as well. _____________________

If I had to live with a vegetable, I guess I'd pick Soya Beans because they are the highest in protein and you can do a lot of things with them. (You can cucumbers too, but use of a vegetable in that manner, while fun, is probably not very nutrituous.)
I'd prefer an avocado, but turns out, it's a fruit. I had to look that one up. I also learned that Avocados provide all of the essential amino acids (those that must be provided by our diet), with 18 amino acids in all, plus 7 fatty acids, including Omega 3 and 6. Avocados contain more protein than cow’s milk, about 2% per edible portion. Personally I think that Avocado's are Bi and like to cross dress so they should be included as a vegetable too. . _____________________

Asparagus for me. Nature's Q-Tip! Geez... this is a hard question. Just one veggie? Um... as long as this is a desert isle on the ocean, so I can have salt, I'd probably go with tamaters (tomatoez). Mmm... I despise unsalted tomatoes, but I love salted tomatoes. Go figure.  Edit: Wait wait, I change my vote to castor beans. 'Cause being stranded alone on a desert isle would absolutely suck.
